Can some please tell me why the media ignores the fact that interdependent voters are really backing Ron Paul?
I was watching MSNBC and Fox News all day today and all I kept hearing were reports that "independents are looking at Mitt Romney as their go-to guy in beating Obama" and "How independents are not to happy with Obama and Mitt and Rick Santorom are becoming more appealing to them" but Im an independent voter myself and Im in Iowa campaigning for Ron Paul and he is attracting a lot of independent and liberal voters as well as fiscal conservatives to his audiences.
Does the main stream media think the American people are stupid? why do they keep pushing their corporate candidates Mitt Romney, and Newt Gingrich in our faces? yes I am very disappointed with Obama but that does not mean Im turning my vote towards a conservative!! if Ron Paul or Jon Huntsman(although he supports a war with Iran something Im heavily against) if either these two do not receive the GOP nomination then Im sorry Im either voting third party or possibly Obama again.
It will be a cold day in hell before I support Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Michelle Buchmann and Rick Santorom (oh god especially him)
@Sageands... my wishful thinking does equate my votes and if you actually read my commentary RETARD you would know Im basing every thing off OPINION not FACTS idiot!!!
Answer: Just look at who funds them.

Answer: Because they want us to believe Romney and the others are more popular. If they were honest and included all the disaffected Democrat and Independent voters in their polls, Ron Paul would probably be in the lead already. He has far wider appeal.

Voters Without a Party Splinter New Hampshire
MANCHESTER, N.H. -- For Emily Renfer, a 21-year-old college student from Nashua, voting is like a triple bank shot. I think Mitt Romney will win, but I can stomach Jon Huntsman because he is moderate and liberal-ish, so if he can get a little boost in New Hampshire, he can become a larger player, and then you wouldnt have Newt as second to - Independents can vote in the New Hampshire primary for either party and between 35 percent and 40 percent of them are expected to turn out; they make up the largest voting bloc in the state, compared with 30 percent who are registered Republicans and 29 percent who are registered Democrats. THE NATIONS; Searching for Mr. Right
HAVING lost Congress and faith, at times, in President Bush, social conservatives are now holding out for a hero in the 2008 Republican presidential campaign. But who? And what kind of hero? Is it the hero of 9/11, Rudolph W. Giuliani, whose support of abortion rights is anything but heroic to social conservatives? Is it the hero against gay - Social conservatives are searching for hero in 2008 Republican presidential campaign; are now fractured and issues that they care about most are often overshadowed by other issues; if their vote splinters in 2008, their political potency could be sapped; if they split into factions for different Republican candidates, either Rudolph W Giuliani or Sen John McCain could slip thruogh middle, uniting enough fiscal conservatives and national security conservatives to win partys nomination; drawing; chart (M) - By PATRICK HEALY

Am I the only one disappointed in this elections choices for president?
Last time we had a choice between Obama and McCain. Obama was a new young face and he spoke well, and we could hope maybe he would do well as president. McCain was a war hero, had a little charisma, although he had two strikes against him because of his advanced age and belonged to the same party as Bush under whose watch, the economy went in the toilet. But McCain tried hard and tried to appeal to younger voters by appearing on Saturday Night Live and joking about his children, his grandchildren, his great grandchildren and his great great grandchildren. At least in the last election we had a choice of two people in which we could honestly believe that there was a decent chance that your choice might work out.
Now we have a choice between Obama who has been a dismall failure at improving the economy and Romney who has the charisma of a dial tone on a telephone.
Do you also feel that this election we have one of the poorest choices in the history of presidential elections?
Answer: No, you're not the only one, and yes, it's pretty poor pickings. We have too much right, and too much left, and little in the middle.
