Who Is Really Out Of Touch With Middle and Lower Class Americans – Romney or Obama?

May 2, 2012 byGiacomo Have you ever seen or heard of Barack Obama getting his hands dirty to help a total stranger? Or when is the last time you heard of Obama sitting down and listening to a typical family without it being in front of a camera and used for campaign purposes? About a month ago, I was watching the national news and saw an interview with a homeowner who had sustained storm damage when a huge tree had fallen. One of Romney’s sons heard about the damage and offered to get some volunteers to help cut up the tree and dig out the stump. The next day, the homeowner was surprised when he saw that one of the volunteers that young Romney had brought was his father. Mitt Romney took time out of his campaign to jump in and help and he did it with no television cameras on hand. Romney senior got dirty and worked up a sweat as he operated a chain saw on the tree and later was in the dirty hole digging out the roots and chopping them with an ax. The only picture taken were by someone who was present on the scene, but very little about the incident was reported to the national media. From what I have read and heard from others, this has long been a way of life in the Romney household. Those close to him say that he and his sons are always willing to pitch in help others and get as dirty as the job makes it and they do it humbly and without seeking praise and accolades. On CBS, This Morning program yesterday, Romney was talking about the importance of the economy and said that every day he is out on the campaign trail, he meets with one, two or three families and it is without cameras or press. He listens to them tell him what is important to them and what they would like to see in a candidate. It’s not done for media publicity. He does it so that he knows what Americans want and need in a president. The last time I recall hearing about Obama meeting with an average American, it was done at the White House with a beer and in front of cameras. Answer: Mr. Obama with his 3rd world upbringing and his administration have noted numerous ties to radicalism and socialists throughout Mr. Obama's history, from his first political campaign being launched from the living room of two former Weather Underground members, to appointing as green jobs czar Van Jones, a self-described communist…yet liberals question Romney’s ability to “relate” to common Americans? Obama's lived off the tax payers his entire life. The only ones he can relate to are the welfare rats that will vote for him even if he were presently on crack.

HE is the clueless one. That is really crazy. Pres Obama has been out in the country since he got into office and is well aware of current social/economic problems as evidenced by the many programs his Admin has put into place to help average people. Romneys platform is so ludicrous how can one not laugh? His talking points are really a projection of what he is lacking. He enumerates solutions he claims the Pres hasnt done when in fact, the Pres. actually has taken those very measures already. It seems to me he has nothing else to say than to invent a fictional narrative. I hope people can see. OLLICOPTER: I will try to explain things. The national debt was about $12 trillion when Bush left office. It is now around $15 trillion. That is not doubled. That is only due to stimulus and TARP 2 spending. The legislation was on the White House website after they were passed because he was advised not to post it before. He is well-versed in Constitutional Law. He gave his opinion that the Supreme Court would be creating an economic impact if they overturned his law. It was his opinion, it was not a threat. The Supreme Court has taken the public interest into account in ruling. Pres Obama told an interviewer that his opposition combed through all of his records including kindergarten school. Nothing is sealed, no income tax, no public office, no employment. It is all available. No President in history was coerced to provide a birth certificate. His personal lawyer went back to Hawaii to get the original long form. The Public Health Dept there said they stopped acceeding to requests si JRHRLH: Are you serious? Cant you see for yourself how Mittens has a lot of trouble talking to individuals and is clueless how people live. The Pres goes around the country talking to people, having dinner with them. His wife helps the homeless and military families. A community organizer helps people to help themselves and to find resources to motivate themselves to be successful.
