Ron Paul vs. Obama 2012, who will win?
Fox news and MSN already confirmed Paul has the momentum to go all the way to Tampa, but what does that mean for Romney? It means there will be a brokered convention if Paul keeps snatching up the remaining delegates and if that happens it means Paul will win because EVERY delegate will have a last chance to choose between Paul and Romney, they will choose Paul. So supposing Romney is out of the way who would win between Paul and Obama? With the recent French and Greek elections doesnt this prove the underdog can win as long as conditions get bad enough, and they will(gas prices, food prices, energy prices, 300,000 foreclosures daily).
*Paul will take the youth vote
*He has pledged to legalize weed(laugh now but over half of this country support legalization)
*He is anti-war(only the hardcore Dems and GOP are warmongers the majority of us want peace
*Obama bailed out Wall Street, Paul use this as ammunition
*Paul would use Libya as ammunition
*Obama no longer has the same 08 crowd
*Paul wants to End the Fed, that is very pro-99% both Tea party and OWS agree
* As soon as Black youth see he wants to legalize weed they will ditch Obama and vote Romney(not racist im black I know lol)

Maybe Romney will be another?
Ronald Reagan. What do you think?
http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/09/
He could be a major FVCK up and be leaps and bounds ahead of Obama.
Romney elaborated on a five point plan to invigorate the economy: energy independence; improving the education system for our children and our workers; taking advantage of trade globally to open new markets and export our goods, while stopping China’s cheating; cutting and capping federal spending, and getting on track to have a balanced budget; and, being the champion for small business to grow and create jobs. ==== ==== ==== ==== ===== ==== Romney specifically stated that he wants to help women, who are more likely to start a small business, to have the tools needed to open and grow small businesses. He emphasized that he knows that jobs come from small businesses and his administration would make it easier to open and run a business in this country. For Powell especially, this is important as we have many solopreneurs and small businesses in our city who are struggling under the regulatory environment brought on by government bureaucracies. ==== ==== ==== ==== ===== ==== For the unemployed in northeast Ohio who used to work in manufacturing, but whose skills are not up-to-date for the technology sectors that are booming in Ohio, Romney’s plans would mean the opportunity to gain the necessary skills to fill an open job in the tech field. For the business owner who works. ==== ==== ==== ==== ===== ==== The Romney/Ryan platform is about creating opportunity, as we heard from the rally. Ohioans aren’t looking for a hand out — we’re looking for a hand up, and the Romney/Ryan platform will provide the opportunities that Ohioans need for their businesses, families and children. With this state in a virtual dead heat, if Romney can continue to focus on these important issues, he will win over the swing voters and carry Ohio on his way to the White House. ==== ==== ==== ==== ===== ==== http://www.humanevents.com/2012/08/26/romney-ryan-in-ohio-a-five-point-plan-to-invigorate-the-economy/

If Romney wins the nomination how is he going to get enough money to beat Obama?
We know that both Obama and Romney will spend their millions throwing dirt at each other with ugly commercials. But Romney is saying he will not go after Obama personally and is only willing to fight hard against conservatives but liberals he says he needs a measured approach. He will Say Obama is incompetent but wont say he is a statist. He will say Obama is inept and over his head but he wont say its by design. He will say Obama is right there are two Americans and we need to redistribute wealth just not the way he is doing it.
If Romney does what he says he is going to do, will most of the conservatives voters who wanted RP, RS, NG just hold on to their pocket books and take away Romneys only effective weapon? Outspending his opponents 10-1? How can Romney win without outspending his opponents? How can Romney differentiate himself on Cap and Trade, and Healthcare? Two of the 4 biggest issues the others being over regulation and tax reform.
Shouldnt we reject Romney and instead vote for RS or NG? Accept Romneys money, organization and fundraising talents but have a real Conservative steering the ship? This would stimulate and motivate the base to donate and still have the advantage of the Republican establishment backing up the candidate. No money and no message or money and message to defeat Obama. What do you think?
Is it easier to create a conservative out of a moderate or elect a conservative and create or in this case borrow Romneys organization in exchange for what ever position he wants in the next administration?
Tribeca - Superpac need to get the money from someone dont they, its not part of the Obama stash. My point is the base is not going to be motivated to give money to Obamalite.
Keith you went to far. Romney will do better than MCCain mostly because Obama record is going to cost him 49% of the vote against anyone. We just need 1.1% more voters to be inspired by Romney or NG or RS. Romney is the least inspirational of the three.
Maverick Capitalist - Where have you been? Romney and Obama agree on healthcare and cap n trade. At least they did before the primaries and they will again after the primaries.
Maximus - I agree with your comments except for conservatives being out of mainstream we are the mainstream. We represent 40%, statist are about 26% and that leaves 34% moderates. the question is will the moderates go with the failed statist polices that got us into this mess or try the Reagan Conservative approach that worked before. The problem with Romney is he will stop pretending his is a conservative as soon as the primaries are over and will run as a moderate. This is a big big problem.
draciron - Entertaining as always. It is illegal for Superpac or anyone else to accept money from non US companies or NON Us citizens. What Clinton did was illegal and when he traded it for a super computer technology so China could create MIRV technology for their Nuclear Warheads it was an impeachable office. In fact Clinton was impeached over it. Unfortunately the public was more interested in Monicas large breasts and her sucking ability that the Senate didnt vote to remove him from office. I dont expect foreign money this time unless Obama gets desperate.
Answer: From Bill Gates , Warren Buffet , George Soros and the richest people in our country . Oops those are all Democrats .

Emanuel Takes On New Role As a Super PAC Wrangler
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Senior Democrats put aside any remaining qualms about jumping into the super PAC era, enlisting Mayor Rahm Emanuel of Chicago to focus on raising money for outside groups that are seeking to help the White House rather than keep a leadership role in President Obama s re-election campaign. With less than nine weeks before - Senior Democrats enlist Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel to focus on raising money for Democratic super PACs, which are being vastly outspent by their Republican counterparts; Emanuel will leave his role as honorary co-chairman of Obamas reelection campaign to organize the effort. Romney rocks real Americans: If OBozo wins now, will this be the biggest joke in U.S. history?
To those of you who have ever worked out in a boxing gym, doesnt our current "President" remind you of someone who walks in off the street, thinks he can handle everything, but then the vast experience of class athletes overpowers him and he seems completely outdone and lost?
Here is what Ive culled from Romneys speech, typing as he was going:
Romney has a plan to create 12 milliion new jobs
Will take full advantage or our resources to make us energy independent.
Will forge new trade agreements.
Will cut the deficit and put America on track to a balanced budget.
Will champion small businesses and modify the harmful regulations.
Will repeal and replace Obamacare with something more practical and simple.
Will guarantee freedom of religion.
Will help Americans and their families.
Will begin Presidency with a jobs tour instead of an apology tour.
Will heal Obamas betrayals and foreign relations blunders and restore our allies, while dealing with the bad guys effectively instead of appeasing them.
Will not raise taxes on the middle of class like Obozo. Will bring about an economy that will put Americans back to work, and maintain a military so strong, no nation would ever dare to test it, unlike Obozo.
Care for the poor and the sick and give a helping hand to those in need.
Will work with all his soul to restore America.
Obozos war on success will end and there will be a sane way of thinking, with the "war on women" and other distractions debunked.
Is this the best news ever? Of course we know Obozos loyal flock disagrees.
His name is NOT "President Obama" in my book, and I will not call him that until he provides the proper documentation. His name is President Obozo, just like recruit Lawrence on Full Metal Jacket was renamed "Private Pyle."
Answer: I pray daily that Romney wins this one. Otherwise, America could very possibly go down, and that would be a horrible tragedy. Go see 2016 The Movie, and it will put the fear of God in you.

Republican poll analysis: Romney winning with middle-class - Politico

What are the chances that obamacare will be repealed?
I was just breaking down numbers for a class project(Applied statistical theory) . My final numbers suggest that its unlikely that Obamacare will be repealed. Heres why:
If Obama wins the presidency, you can say goodbye to the repeal because by then most of the plan will be in place and no party in their right mind will repeal it after Obama leaves. There will be huge repercussions if the law is repealed. It would increase the deficit along with a shellshock that the health care industry will go through, which will leave the American health care system handicapped...this along with other nasty consequences and a public backlash which can only be theorized by analyzing historical consequences of similar actions in the US and other countries.
If Romney wins, then its a possibility, but the GOP would need to regain the House(which will probably happen if you analyze the poll numbers county by county) and the senate. The GOP only needs seven more seats to regain the majority in the senate. I predict the GOP will win the House, but the senate is up for grabs. Even if the GOP wins across the board(the white house, and a congress majority in both the house and the senate), it will still take two or so years for them to repeal it. A democratic response to this needs to be taking into account as well.
I was pretty conservative with my numbers, however my classmates did not follow the path I did. As one of my classmates put it in a humorous fashion- "The chances of obamacare being repealed are a little better than the chances of a snowball remaining intact in hell."
Answer: Not likely at all, but for political reasons.
First, Republicans would have to explain to the millions of people who have already benefited from the law, why they're taking that away. Then, Republicans would have to explain why going back to the status quo before the ACA (out of control increases, no reason for dropping coverage, no coverage at all for preexisting conditions, etc...) is better than having protection against those things. Then, Republicans would have to start from scratch on a bill that, as they tell us, would contain some of those very same provisions that they took away in the first place.
Repealing the ACA is a no-win situation for Republicans. They would be better off compromising with Democrats to pass changes to the law to address their concerns, which is what they should have done back in the beginning; instead of obstructing everything.

Will the GOP be forced to give up Romney as a bargaining chip to get the Tea Party to compromise?
Now that the Tea Partys little "play" is over, and they still have their heels dug in like spoiled children, what can the GOP do to reason with them.
My guess is that there are talks to strike a deal where the RNC will give up Romney, and let a TP win the nomination.
What else can they do?
If the Tea Party causes a default, it will take the GOP down with it.
If they let .... say Bachmann run for President... she will lose so bad that the Tea Party will dissolve.
It is just one of those things that has to be done for the good of the party.
Answer: Your thought is very possible because the majority of Republicans wants more seats in the Senate and House that they can count on. The tea party people are worst idealogs than conservatives imagined. Now with 2012 on the heels of the economic problems of the nation it means two things. One will Republicans be blamed for not helping the economy and helping the rich and corporations. Two will any enough new seats result in either House or Senate because of tea party. This is the litmus test of test. Not the presidency; that is the side show. The case is made either give up the Bush tax cuts to balance the Dems side of cutting or too much subsidies cutting and revenues increases by Reps. Hard choices for the base.

In order to beat Romney, will Obama be forced to sink to his level?
Yes, Obama has stretched the truth in his attack ads like any politician...but never before has any candidate of any party done what Romney is doing:
-taking a clip of Obama QUOTING MCCAIN saying "if we talk about the economy then well lose" and trying to fool people into thinking Obama said it for real
-taking a quote of Obama saying "you didnt build that," meaning businesses depend on infrastructure built by the government with tax dollars, and trying to fool people into thinking Obama made the literally absurd claim that nobody who builds a business actually built their business.
If Romney somehow survives not releasing his tax returns, will he win on the pure power of shamelessness in his out-of-context attacks? Would Republicans have a problem with Obama pulling individual words out of various Romney speeches to make it look like he said "I love Hitler and bin Laden"?

Robert Reich: Four Reasons Why Romney Might Still Win
Sep 20, 2012 ... Featuring fresh takes and real-time analysis from HuffPost's signature .... How can Romney win when all odds are against him and rightly so.
Nate Silver Solves the Swing State Puzzle
When I first considered Barack Obama ’s re-election chances in this magazine, last November, he was about a 50-50 contender against the Republican field. As I noted then, this was an unusual spot for a sitting president. A year before their own re-election races, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Nixon, Reagan, Clinton and both Bushes were all favored. - By NATE SILVER
Who will win the presidential election -- Romney, Paul, or Obama?
While I know someone will state where is Gingrich, if you really checked into his ethics violations, he is not able to become President of the USA. I have no idea why he is running for office, unless Former President George W Bush or William Clinton changed this law while in office. So that really narrows the pack down.
In the end I am hoping these will be the three running for office, this way the election process will be interesting, and possibly not like the Jerry Springer Show ripoff, the republican conventions have turned into.
So who will win the presidency?
Will Mitt Romney win it for the conservative party?
Or will Ron Paul run as an independent Libertarian candidate and take it all?
Or Finally will Mr President Barack Obama gain a second term, and end the TEA PARTY politics that have taken center stage in the last 2 years?
What is your opinion?
I will give mine later.
Answer: Obama is going to win election. Mitt Romney got way to much baggage for Obama. Mitt Romney opposes the Auto bail there goes Michigan. Mitt Romney has the same healthcare plan has Obama. Mitt Romney and bain stuff and now Fannie and Freddie Mac. Obama is waiting on Mitt Romney

Will Mitt Rommey and the plutocrats win or will Ron Paul and the American People win?
The 2012 Republican Primary be a battle between the American People and the Elite.
Mitt Romney raised $10 million yesterday from some wealthy donors. It seams that Romney is the choice of the wealthy oligarchs to be the next Republican nominee.
At the grassroots level, Ron Paul is currently the leading candidate among the field. Dr. Paul raised $1 million on the day of the debate from ordinary Americans.
Will Mitt Romney and the plutocrats win or will Ron Paul and the American People win? If Romney wins, we will once again have an echo between plutocrat candidate A (Obama) and plutocrat candidate B (Romney), just as we have in every election in recent decades. If Paul wins, we will have a real choice in November of 2012.
Heres a question for all of the people who think that the wealthy plutocrats want a free market: If Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, the Kochs, and all those other extremely wealthy people believe in laissez-faire capitalism because they want to exploit the common people, why do they give so much money to Barack Obama and Mitt Romney? Why dont they give anything to Ron Pauls campaign? We all know which 2 of these candidates advocate the big government status quo and which candidate is the most principled champion of laissez-faire capitalism in American political history.
The reason why the powerful interests support Romney and Obama rather than Paul is obvious. Paul wants to take away their special privileges. He would end all corporate welfare, lower taxes for all Americans, and repeal the regulations that "protect" big business from competition under the guise of "protecting" consumers. He would end all foreign military interventions, leave all globalist institutions (such as the IMF), and end all foreign aid. Most importantly of all, Ron Paul wants to end the Federal Reserve Bank that manipulates the money supply for the benefit of powerful banking interests. The results of the Federal Reserves policies are the evils of inflation (a decline in the value of money) and the business cycle (yes, it is the Feds manipulation of the money supply which causes recessions and depressions). If Ron Paul were to be elected President, he would be the wealthy elites worst nightmare. Therefore, it is little surprise that Mitt Romney and Barack Obama support all of these aforementioned policies that Dr. Paul is against. The power elite is perfectly happy regardless of whether we have centrist President A or centrist President B. What they fear is a President who believes in a real free market, honest money, and a non-interventionist foreign policy.
Contrary to the deluded left-wingers, the wealthy elite do not want a free market because they know that the biggest losers in a real free market will be themselves. They know that the main function of the government in the United States of America, since the "Progressive" Error, has been to "protect" big business and other special interests from the invisible hand of the free market. This holds true regardless of whether the Democrats or Republicans are in power. If Ron Paul can defeat both Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, the American People win. If Ron Paul loses, the government will continue to enrich the elites at our expense. The system we have today is NOT a free market. It is nothing more than Neo-Mercantilism and we need to defeat it just like the Founding Fathers defeated the original Mercantilists.
Answer: There is ONLY one person getting my vote, and that is Ron Paul!

Is Rupert Murdoch right, "ROMNEY needs to fire his Staff and hire new blood to WIN"?
When interviewed Murdoch said, that this Election is about Obama and nothing else. Obama is hitting the Hispanic Vote hard with his Government will take care of you Socialist agenda. What the Obama deceit adds against Hispanics are ignoring, is that...some one will be paying for these Government programs. Its all feel good fluff that is coming from Obama. ROMNEY needs to seize on the moment at hand and hit back with Obamas own Record of Failure from the day he entered politics. Romney must change to an offensive hit below the belt stradegy by taking off the gloves to Win this Election. The nice Guy days of John McCain are over. Seel out and destroy ther Left now or sit back and Lose the Election. If Romney comes out now and attacks Obama with Obamas own record of repeated failure again and again...Romney will be the Victor. ...I Agree. Since we all know what a failure Obama is...but like Rupert Murdoch correctly summarized...all of us need to hear it from Mitt Romney and not from Donald Trump...who so far has knocked Obama out of the ring. Thank You Mr Murdoch...Donald you are also the MAN.
Answer: Romney needs to be strong and hit hard against the left, that doesn't mean he needs to be making cheap shots, but he does need to come out stronger if he wants to win.

Intelligent minds, please: Is Benjamin Netanyahu afraid Mitt Romney will win elections?
http://news.yahoo.com/u-no-block-israel-iran-netanyahu-161058318.html
I refuse to believe that Benjamin Netanyahu cannot wait a few months until Obama is out of the White House. In my own view I see Obamas chance only at 30%, so since BN cannot wait these few months until January 20th when Mitt Romney takes over the White House, it tells me that he firmly believes Romney WILL NOT go along with his plans which of course are to have U.S. physically (not cyber only) attack Iran, and Israel (I suppose very wisely) only giving moral support. I doubt Israel would go militarily against Iran, unless fired heavily upon by rockets or something.
So, whats wrong with Bebe? Does he think his chances are out the window once Romney steps in?
I find this really interesting and wish someone would throw some light on it for me, since I cant figure out whats really behind it all.
JIM, the rockets I refer to would be long range, huge rockets fired by Iran, I dont mean those fired by Hamas which compared to would look like firecrackers!!!
Answer: I would love to see either of your faces when you wake up November 7, and Obama's been re-elected. Where do either of you idiots get your math from. Obama only has a 30% chance of winning, plzzzz. Both of you guys are stupid.

Who will win the race in November? Romney or Obama?
I am 16 years old and I consider myself to be an Independent party person. I had high hopes for Obama after he won the election in 2008. However, he has done very little. Some of the major things he said he would get rid of he has kept, and the things he said he would make better have gotten worse.
1) He said he would close Guantanamo Bay. But in fact the US has spent $600 million dollars upgrading and making it better. Now the prisoners have access to a full library, electronics, and a soccer field. The terrorists are being treated better than US citizens in jail
2) He said that if he didnt cut the deficit in half by his second year in office he would resign. But he actually made the debt worse and he is running for reelection.
3) Congress isnt working together. Some people will say thats not his fault. Well throughout our history our parties have never agreed on anything. But the president would have to convince them to work together and make decisions together. It is part of his job to make sure we are all working together. We have been through worse times in the past than this and we got along better because we had a strong leader.
4) Obamacare. It was a good attempt at giving universal health care. But the bill got stripped away so much that many of the major parts arent in there anymore. But will still cost us another $1.3 trillion over the next 10 years.
5) The middle east has seen good improvement. It is time for us to withdraw. But to take all of our soldiers out in the course of a few months is not a smart idea. We risk civil disobedience in the countries if we leave too early.
6) Many other countries are getting mad at us now. We havent done enough to try to get equal rights in China, we didnt get North and South Korea to cooperate with one another, Obama offended Israel when he suggested they give back some of their land, Iran hasnt seen improvement, many Europeans believe that Obama hasnt done enough to help the world economy. Mexicans thought that we would send in troops and quickly put down the drug war but we didnt. We have been doing intelligence missions in Mexico to get information about the drug cartels, many of which have backfired.
7) The last think and probably the saddest thing is that many of the American minorities will vote for Obama just because he is an African American because it makes minorities feel like they have more power. People should vote for the better candidate. Something which hasnt happened for awhile. I asked one of my African American friends why he supported Obama and he said "Because e is black."
But.. Now Romney is flip flopping on his issues to try to get support from every group of people. Which is making him look weak.
Sadly, I feel like a 16 year old knows more about politics than half the adults in this country. I know that I am supporting Romney, even though I cant vote, my parents and sisters will be voting for Romney this November. It is time for a change I think. I dont believe our country and our world will do any better if Obama is elected again.
What do you think?
Answer: Tyler I am so proud and impressed with your comments. They are very well organized and thought out. I can tell your parents have raised a very intelligent young man that will be an asset to society. Thank you for your contribution to YA.

How did a guy like Mitt Romney win the Republican nomination?
First of all, Romney just LOOKS like a shady character. That little smirk he gets on his face is just so creepy and malicious if you ask me.
Secondly, the guy cant take a solid stance on ANY issue. Hes been on both sides of the isle on every major issue. I dont have a problem with somebody changing their mind...But when youre doing it just to please what ever crowd youre standing in front of, thats when it becomes a problem. Standing in front of Detroit saying you SUPPORT the auto bailouts, then heading down to Kansas City and OPPOSING them just shows a lack of moral conviction. No matter how "politically strategic" it is.
And third, at a debate, Romney will spend two and a half to three minutes fumbling around with the question only to give a vague, mediocre answer. The crowd full of knuckle heads goes wild in applause. Its deeply saddening.
Anybody who says that he would ask ATTORNEYS whether or not he should take his country to war is very disturbing in my mind. The Constitution clearly states that war must be approved and declared by the Congress, NOT attorneys.
Why in the world are we letting guys like this become front-runners in Presidential elections? We say we want change, but in my mind, Romney and Obama are one in the same. Neither one of them are ANY good. They have both been bought and paid for by big corporations.
We let the last honest candidate slip through our fingers. The last Constitutionally dedicated person willing to run this country got shut out. Sad sad sad.
@bobermac...I KNOW he hasnt OFFICIALLY won the nomination. Im not dumb....But we all know that he WILL sadly win the nomination.
But the point of my question wasnt to argue whether or not he has officially won the nomination yet or not. To me, its sad that you would overlook my entire question only to comment on something that was completely beside the point.
Answer: Ron Paul a good and decent man. A man who backs the Constitution and the media blacked him out. All his rallys were well attended. Here in Phila. his out door event was attended by thousand even though it was raining it didn't dampen the enthusiasm.
And then there's the android Romney. I can't help but wonder if the tally was another fraud committed by Romney. He's such a sleaze

When Romney wins Nov. 7th, will Obama take his pimp-Slap! like a man, or run whining for momma?
My guess is the size of the loss will shut him up for a bit. But Obama, like Carter after his spanking will soon be running his mouth and running the USA down. Unlike Carter tho, do not expect any physical labor from Obama...that aint gonna happen.
But do expect Obama to be well received in Egypt by the Islamic Brotherhood and other Islamic Nutter groups as well as a trip to Iran after he loses...Maybe he will be invited to one of their stonings?
