Is this the America Our Founding fathers hoped for? Whats you opinion?

•America should protest and over throw our government. Start over fresh. Follow the Constitution. We dont follow our Constitution. We need to. Its why America used to be so wonderful. Our Founding Fathers made the Constitution so that our government would only have limited control (power), not total. Also they didnt want Presidents acting like kings. In order to become Commander in Chief the President has to go through 5 steps in order to even allow themself to be called Commander In Cheif, other wise the constitution says their only president. Did Bush earn that right? NO! Obama? NO! How about Bush Sr.? Nope. Clinton? NO WAY! Commander in chief is like Saying our president is King . They can control our armed forces. The #1 Reason America didnt want a king is because , Kings play war when ever they want. Wake up America we are all going to sit back and let the very Constitution our Founding Fathers created go down the drain. Our dollar is going to be worth pennies and well still send billions to other countries. Future Historians are going to look back and say" Americans were so stupid. CAMPAIGN MEMO; Romney Faces Calls to Deliver Counterpunch

WASHINGTON -- Mitt Romney and his team of advisers built a reputation during the Republican primaries as tough street fighters skilled in the tactics of political warfare. They quietly took pride in tearing apart Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum and the rest of their rivals. The aggressive posture ultimately became one of Mr. Romneys selling points, - Campaign memo; Mitt Romney and his advisers were aggressive and tough during the Republican primaries, but his recent restraint has opened a round of second-guessing about his insistent focus on the economy as Democrats have turned attention to other topics; some Republicans worry he is not nimble and aggressive enough to withstand the Democratic assault against him. WHEN the US economy crashes.. can we leave the country?

im 14... freshman this year... im worried out of my mind what the future brings.. I have researched (not intense) on what would happen when the economy crashes (I am pretty sure we are BEYOND repair and it WILL crash but im praying not) most likely a lot of horrible stuff will happen (based on theories) and the research says we will be stuck here (middle and lower class) im old enough to know my family (me my mother and father) are middle class and my parents are hard workers and im one of the very few teenagers of this generation that actually appreciates every dollar that comes into our household. So can we leave? I mean like will you think any of the other countries will take pity on us americans and let us invade *ahem* I mean live in their territory?? Or will us middle and lower class people be left behind and be screwed by the government ONCE AGAIN AS MANY TIMES APPLY and only the upper class will leave?? Do I know what im talking about?? im a worried future business woman here... and what will happen AFTER the crash?? what will happen during?? will we have to be forced back to being (gulps) simple??? and im worried for that because I know TOO MANY teens my age who cant even work a washer and dryer.

Am I becoming racist?

First of all can I just say, I have never before hated someone because of their race. However, when I see the rate at which my country is changing, I find it alarming and... depressing, to be completely honest. I live in Britain and when you walk down the street nowadays it seems as if we are being colonised or something. I have never really thought about it before, but recently it has been getting to me and I have started to worry severely for the future of our country and Im wondering if I should get out or what... I just dont know. I find it unsettling. Its not so much race, but culture... immigrants in my experience are completely rude, unwilling to assimilate, violent, disrespectful of education and other things. I would never vote BNP or anything. I dont know what to do. I am absolutely not a hateful person, however. Anybody feel the same way?
Answer: Yes, I feel the same but not about immigrants, only ILLEGALS. I live in America and it disgusts me to see how disrespectful ILLEGALS and their supporters can be. And it irks me just as bad that our government allows it. I am Mexican (among many other things) and do not consider myself to be racist at all. However I do see where I have become a bit prejudice. To me, there is a huge difference.

Im worried about future, Ill start my journey soon and I cant seem to choose a suitable occupation.?

I just need to talk. I finished Grade 11 this year. I took 8 IGCSE subject, 5 this year, and three last year. This is the system in my school. Last year I did physics, chemistry and Arabic as a first language. I got A* in both chemistry and physics, and an A in Arabic as a first language. Im more into the scientific field. This year I did 5 subjects which are maths, English, biology, economics and business. My school doesnt offer a wide variety of subjects. It offers those 8 subjects plus ICT which can be taken instead of economics. Unexpectedly, I feel that I did good in business, economics, maths and English, but not good in biology! Biology is my favorite subject, but what happened to me? Im really not satisfied about the way I answered the paper, maybe its because I expect too much from myself. Last year I wasnt satisfied about chemistry as well, but I got an A*, I hope Ill get A* in biology too and I hope that what I feel is all because of nervousness. Anyways, what I want to say is that throughout my entire life, all I ever thought about is becoming a doctor. I dont know why. Maybe because my mom is a doctor, and maybe its because I just have high aims. When I was in 5th Grade, my teacher asked us to write our dreams on a piece of paper without writing our names so that nobody will be shy. I still remember clearly how I wrote that "I wish to discover a cure for Cancer and AIDS". I have no idea why did I write it, but all I know now is that this is what I want to do. I want to find a cure, I want to help people, save them, give them a second chance, help them to smile and show them that life is worth living. Those innocent kids who get leukemia make me cry, thinking about them really inspires me towards my dream. The problem is that, Im having a weird love towards economics and business, I feel that I have some kind of natural talents, although I feel the same about biology. The thing is that I always HATED the commerce subject, but now I dont know whats happening to me. I really like them now, besides, my love towards biology is really decreasing because of that tough exam. To be honest, I think that its all because of me. I considered biology as the easiest subject, it was really easy, especially when compared to the other 4. So I spent most of my time studying those 4 instead of biology which made me better in them. Ive been struggling and fighting with myself everyday because of this. I want to help people, I want to become a doctor, its everything Ive ever wanted, but now Im no longer sure about anything. Its like I cant listen to my heart anymore. The other problem is that Im the first child. My mom, as shes the one whos completely responsible for me and my brother, has no information about the requirements for medical schools now-a-days. As a mom, her only concern is to keep me near to her. We live in an Arabian country. Ive asked my step father, as hes a surgeon, about wheres the best place to study medicine, and he recommended many countries, anything except Arabian countries. He fears that the certificate isnt enough or isnt as good as the US or Canadian certificates. Well, this just causes more confusion to me. Entering a medical school requires a huge amount of finance, which we may lack, especially because my brother is 2 years younger than me, so my mom will have to pay for him as well. This will be really too much for her. Ive tried many times to surf the net and search about scholarships but the lack of info about the teaching systems in other countries makes it so hard for me to get a clear idea. Here, medical college is 6 years. In Canada, its 8. My aunt lives in Canada which is why I thought about studying there, but again, the financial problem, plus, it takes 8 years! So when will I start working? When will I get my first salary? Which specialty will be the best for me? And so many questions as well are floating in my head without being answered, causing fear, stress, exhaustion, and thinking that I dont know myself at all. My grandparents live in Jordan, so I may go and study there as a second option. My problem now is that I cant identify my path. I cant see its beginning. I dont know which occupation to choose, I dont know whether Ill be able to live a normal life if I entered medicine. I dont know if entering medicine will mean that Ill discover the cure for Cancer and Aids. Im so stressed out. I think about how going to Canada will mean that I cant see my amazing, loving, hardworking mother. Im really trying my best to make up my mind, to set a final decision, but its so hard. Will my mom be able to afford for medical college? Will I be good enough? Will I make her proud? I really want nothing from this world but to live happily with the people I love, and to h

Are we going to inherit my fiances moms debt??? worried about our money situation....?

First and foremost, happy thanksgiving to you and thanks for reading this... I am engaged to my fiance and we are planning on tying the knot this summer. Hes an American and Im from France. Just recently moved stateside to be with him. My fiance is pretty successful in his career path (the air force) and is taking classes for his bachelors degree. I am very proud of him for achieving so much already, especially since he hasnt had an easy life. I am currently finishing up my last semester as an undergrad and currently applying to grad school to be a teacher. Anyway, his family is very poor and his mom is on the verge of losing her house. He feels guilty that hes making money and climbing up the social ladder (from living in the ghetto of Cleveland to a nice middle class life). What can I say so that he stops feeling this way? Im afraid this might stop his success... My other problem is that recently hes mentioned that his mother doesnt have health care and that if she dies hes going to inherit plenty of debts. Now, this is making me worried and nervous. I dont get why my fiance would inherit debts. I am not from this country and in my country this is not how it goes. Is there any way we could avoid inheriting this debts? I am not saying that my mother in law is going to die or anything, I am just worried about the financial burden his mother might bring upon us since we are both trying to create a good life for ourself and our future family... It just seems to be that it would be unfair that he would get this as a result of his mothers poor decision. Plus, what would happen is she got sick? Shes a heavy smoker and I cant stop but to worry about our situation, especially since we want to start a family soon.... I dont want to run any risk. Any advise on this? thanks! thanks CC. Very informative and reassuring :)
Answer: No You don't automatically get someones debt when they die. HOWEVER---if you take ANYTHING good they have when they die..then you also have to take the bad. EXAMPLE-- if she dies..and your Fiance gets her car because he is her son..then yes, he has to take some debt too. If you take something good..then you have to take the bad too. You can't just take the car and leave the debt behind. HOWEVER--there is a loophole...if his mother makes a will and gives him the car as a gift when she dies...then he does not have to take her debt. Because she GAVE him the car in her will. THIS HAPPENED TO ME---my father died and I am his only child and only living family. Therefor..anything he has...would be mine. However, If I take his house, car, money in bank account..then yes, I have to take his debt. AND BECAUSE OF THIS..I DID NOT take any of his stuff..because I didn't want the debt to go along with it. The state (NC) took his stuff to pay off his debt. HOWEVER--I did get a few thousand dollars as a GIFT from him...he left me that money as a gift..therefor I could take it...without his debt too.

Im not proud to be an American at all?

Is this wrong? I really feel like the country I live in is sh*t. Our country has such bad levels when it comes to education, we refuse to pay our teachers and firefighters and policeman what they deserve, and the very fact that half our country discredits science is even more appalling. We are the laughing stock among developed countries. I heard in Finland they pay teachers equivalent to what they pay doctors and train them as such too. Why is our country trying to cut teachers pay? Is some of our country so dumbed down we arent even worried about our future of education? I believe we are #17 when it comes to that. Are you proud of America? Why or why not?
Answer: Teachers probably should be paid more, but equivalent to MD's? I hope you are joking.

not sure Im marrying the right person...?

Warning: this will probably make me sound completely heartless, but Im trying to be rational. I really do love the guy, weve been together for two years, were compatible in many ways, hes extremely affectionate and treats me like a princess, etc. He changed my life in many ways, and I dont think anyone could ever have that kind of impact on me again. I had absolutely no reason to break up with him while we were dating, and I didnt even consider it. But marriage is a whole different ballgame. At the moment were planning on getting married in two years, but there are significant problems I forced myself to overlook when we first got engaged because I didnt want to hurt him, and Im really regretting it because I have no idea what to do now! Weve been engaged for six months and if anything, Im less ready to get married than I was when he proposed! These issues are all things weve discussed, but he either "doesnt care, he just wants whatever I want" or hes sure Ill change my mind "once the wedding excitement kicks in/once we have a baby/etc." Problems... 1) I do not want to get married anytime in the near future. 2) I really dont want kids and he really wants a lot of them. 3) He proposed as a TOTAL surprise in front of 200 friends and family members, so I didnt have the chance to even think about it, but I couldnt exactly say no! 4) He tends to put my wishes before his own, which is great to a point, but I worry that ten years from now hes going to resent me for it. 5) Our aspirations and levels of ambition are totally different, and while I definitely feel like he gets me as a person, once I start talking about the things Im working on, he changes the subject or zones out. 6) Our relationship went from dating through college and basically living together, to being engaged and living home at on opposite sides of the country. 7) Ive been in therapy for depression, severe anxiety, panic disorder and sundry other mental issues since we got engaged. I feel like learning to deal with the things that have plagued me all my life has changed me into a totally different person, and I need to get acquainted with the new me. 8) Our views on money are COMPLETELY different and thats been a big issue since we started dating, so marriage would definitely not help! I dont think I want to end things, but Im nowhere near ready for marriage and I dont know how to tell him that in such a way that he wont blow it off as a little cold feet, or try to change my mind. And neither of us deals well with the distance, but neither of us wants to move away from home, so Im pretty worried for the future of our relationship. I really dont know what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.
Answer: I think you should just tell him the truth. The first thing you said is you don't want to get married. So don't get married.

Regarding the gang rape at Richmond High School and our society?

It goes without saying that what happened at that high school dance is disgusting and horrifying on a number of levels. Just the fact that it happened is bad enough. But the fact so many people were involved and that no one tried to help - no one even called 911 - if deeply troubling. Then theres the fact that people were pulling out their cell phones to take picture - but not call for help. Apparently nobody called for help until some girl on campus called because she heard others talking about. By this point the victim had been essentially left for dead. Im just trying to figure out what this says about our society. Although Im not one to blame movies and other media for causing people to do bad things, I cant help but wonder if things like the rape in the movie The Last House on the Left have desensitized people to the point that when it happens in real life its not so shocking. Kids are consuming this type of stuff for entertainment and that troubles me. Im just curious to hear other peoples thoughts because this kind of thing really has me worried when I think about this generation being "the future of our country". And its not just this incident. The last few years there have been an increasing number of very violent acts by teens that were watched by a number of people who did nothing but film it on their phones. bugYA: I dont think that is the case. Just last year there was a case in Florida where a bunch of white girls lured a "friend" into a home where they beat the crap out of her and filmed the whole thing. These crimes are not just being perpetrated by the "usual suspects".
Answer: I think it goes back to how a lot of people raise their kids now days. They don't care what the kids are doing as long as they are out of the house away from them. And the parents are not real moral and their kids turn out worse. It all falls back to me first thinking.

Our relationship is amazing...except Im worried about this one thing..?

We have an amazing relationship. I have never been happier, or felt more secure, and I dont believe he has either. Its very balanced, and I can honestly say hes the one. We cant last in an argument, we just end up laughing and forgetting about it. It honestly feels so perfect. The only problem...is that we have different opinions about where to live. Were not engaged or anything, and weve never talked about anything like moving in together...but in the future, i see it happening. Were both from the same city, small and dirty with not much opportunity wise. I cannot get a job there once I am back because I have studied musical theatre, and there are no oppotunities there for that. He is a welder (and has a very good job), but he always claims hes a "lifer" and wants to live there forever which a) i cant job wise and b) dont really enjoy living there.. I want him to be happy of course, and would never ask him to move if it would make him unhappy...but what would you suggest doing in a situation like this? Once we get to this point, would our relationship be over? Hes really just a country boy (loves lakes, fishing, quads, bonfires, dirt roads etc), and Im a country girl too (born and raised lol)...I dont like being in the centre of a city, and would rather live outside of one, to get the best of both worlds but.. Thank you all for the answers! Only one thing bothered me: everyone of course has the right to their own opinion, but I dont believe any women should be obligated to follow any man. Any woman is fully capable of taking care and providing for themselves, and i think that view is very old fashioned and is trying to make women seem weak...taking away from all the progress we have made in womens rights and equality. Relationships should be give and take! In my family, my mom makes a lot more money than my father. I do not believe in gender roles. Both parents should share equal responsibility financially, emotionally, and parentally in a relationship!
Answer: I think that California would be a good place. They have some quiet country spaces with the city not too far away. Some places in New York are beautiful and not too far away from the city. (You have to invest some time looking though. Might be a little tough.) In both these places you can get the best of both worlds. I think that in this particular situation, he should be willing to not be stuck on one place. He can weld nearly anywhere, so he has a lot more job options. You have a totally different career, and different opportunities. If it was the other way around, you would have to sacrifice for him. Right now, it seems like he should sacrifice for you. It's awesome that you found "the one." They are hard to find for some people, lol. But sometimes they just look in the wrong places. :P Good luck with your future hubby! :)

Im worried about my future?

Im 15 and every single day i go to school at least one of my teachers feels the need to point out how bad the economy is or how tough it will be on us youth...I dont want to have to spend the rest of my life working so we can pay China back or even what if we lose our country to China? Can somebody please tell me something good because all my teachers and the news wants to say is that between the scandalous politicians and growing debt us youth really are going to be in for a hard time..I really do care about my future so I dont want to not have the ability to go to college or get a good job or something! thanks in advance..
Answer: We're all worried about our futures. The only difference between the current environment and when I was your age is that now there is cable news, internet feeds, smart phones, and other electronic media so that information can be transmitted instantaneously. My teachers and parents told me the same kind of stuff, except that then it was that the Soviets were going to take over the world and that we would be fighting in Asia forever. We had a balanced budget when Clinton was President and Economies are very cyclical and predictable, though it always seems like it's the first time anything has happened. Politics has always been a very dirty, nasty endeavor and if you heard some of the allegations made against Abraham Lincoln or even someone earlier, you'd wonder how they got away with it. We always think everything is new and getting worse, but it really isn't. I'm not saying it's right, or that we shouldn't try to make things better, but a little perspective is in order. I understand your feelings and if I was 15 again (shudder) I'd probably have similar concerns. All you can do is to try to get a good education and be the best person, sister, daughter, friend, girlfriend, and citizen you can. Be involved in your community and work toward being part of the solution, rather than the problem. There really isn't a lot you can do about the global situation, problems in the Mideast, the war in Afghanistan, stupid Congressmen, or what Charlie Sheen is up to. America and the world have weathered bigger storms than the ones were facing now. Hitler, Stalin, and the Empire of Japan posed a much greater threat to the earth's population and we got through that and even thrived afterwards. The United States isn't going anywhere and will continue to be a world leader, in spite of what the screaming goofballs from the fringes say. I have a lot of faith in our democracy and people, and so should you. We'll figure out this economy, global warming, and how to deal with the Chinese. We need more smart, caring, dedicated people who are willing to do the hard work to figure out solutions to problems that are surmountable. It won't be easy, but nothing worth doing, is. You're 15, relax, have a nice summer because it might be the last one you have where you don't feel compelled to work the entire time. Get involved in a community group or project because one of the best ways to feel good about your society is to see it in action and meet some of the dedicated people who are making it a better place. Good luck, you'll be okay and so will the rest of us.

The Future for the United States.?

I hear and read a lot on the internet about the United States in the next 20-30 Yrs. falling apart and basically becoming bankrupt not being a world power anymore. Now this scares a lot of people, but by the way it looks today, this dreadful future might be the destiny for Americans. Between the war and massive spending the country is currently being flushed down the toliet. We seriously need to get our act together or I dont know what will happen. If/when we get out of the war in Iraq in 2008, do you think there is a chance of still remaining pretty stable by the next 2-3 decades? I definitely know that one day other countries will pass us like China and maybe Russia etc. but im worried about the future for Americans, what will happen to our country? It might not effect out life time, but think about your kids and grandkids. I would just like serious answers and feedback, thanks. :) Will our country just crumble to the ground and leave people to die? This is what I think the end result is for America: (If we get a good president)------U.S will be a very stable country, not the best but you still wouldnt want to go to war with it. Also, we will have more allies and be hated by not a lot of countries. If we get another Bush: We will be delayed the ability to improve and more time will just pass us time. KEEP IN MIND I DO NOT THINK OUR COUNTRY WILL JUST CRUMBLE AND DIE. TOO MANY CITIZENS ARE LOSING HOPE AND THIS IS NOT GOOD AT ALL. I think we will prosper no matter what happens...just delayed if another Bush comes etc. Its not just like one day well flat out be broke. I want feedback...thanks The reason why I think well do good if a good pres. comes is because hell have the sense to pull out of the wat and focus on other important issues in America....forgot to mention this is last post..thanks.
Answer: the united states is only as powerful as the people within it. just take a look at the typical American and they will show you the future.

Her and I are worried about our future together (literally)?

I was planning to leave the country for school next year, but now that Ive met her, Im not sure what to do. We really like each other, and shes looking for a keeper. I would like to find a keeper, also. Even though it would be more money for me to go to school here, instead of overseas, I am considering that if we work out together. Im also considering looking for work directly from school, and seeing how things go before we make a solid choice. She says she wants to be near her family, and we both kind of agree 1 year is probably not enough time to get to know each other to make a big decision... But, we agree to give it our best shot and see what happens... Its just really sad to think that we might even get to love each other, and yet not be able to. The only way is for me to compromise and stay near her, but if we dont work out, Id be stuck with the bill... and the same for her if she comes with me... I was thinking if we really do believe we love each other, then we can just do what it takes to stay together. But, its very confusing and Id appreciate some advice. Thanks.
Answer: Go to school. Your education comes first and stays with you forever. Lovers come and go...if it's meant to be it will be.

Here Comes The Sell

Most mornings, Danny Kennedy hops on a bike with orange saddlebags and rides half an hour from his home to Oaklands Jack London Square. He makes for quite a picture cruising down Telegraph Avenue, decked out as he often is in an orange helmet, orange jacket and orange leather Adidas shoes. Im worried, havent had much sleep, and in a mess right now?

My life is on the line right now and it all depends on weather or not I make it to next year of university. Just before starting my first year of University, one of my brothers developed a disorder. My parents became extremely worried and asked me occasionally through the school week if I could take care of him because both my mom works during the night shift and my dad drives a truck so hes not home for about 3 days out of the week. I couldnt refuse because he is my brother and I had to look after him because the disorder hes suffering from prevents him to communicate and he would often experience "fear-attacks" which would cause him to unexpectedly runaway. We had taken him to a Physiologist, but we stopped going because my brother simply refuses to listen to anyone or even go outside of the house. Being in one of the top schools in my country, my student life was already as hard as it was and with the added stress of commuting back to my hometown and taking care of my brother really put a dent into my time for studying. Regardless, Im a fighter and I pulled through, but with one grade below the requirements of my program. I spoke with my counselor who recommended that I speak with my professor, but he did not do anything. My counselor then suggested that I petition my grades and make sure I have supporting evidence of my situation, but Im worried that it might not be enough to convince the head of the committee to pass me because my professor did not grant my request, despite what I told him. I dont know what I will do with my life if I do not get to next year of my studies. My parents look up to me in hopes that I will provide a better future for our family, but Im absolutely at the lowest point in my life right now. I cant sleep, Im experiencing anxiety attacks, and I feel extremely depressed. Please, please, please, is there anything that I can do to make my case stronger and more effective? Thank you for your time.
Answer: ·So happiness - isn't that the thing that all of us strive to find and keep? Nobody is happy all of the time, but some people are definitely more fulfilled than others. Studies on what makes people happy reveal that it doesn't have much to do with material goods or high achievement; it seems to whittle down to your outlook on life, and the quality of your relationships with the people around you. Be optimistic. In the 1970s, researchers followed people who'd won the lottery and found that a year after they'd hit the jackpot, they were no happier than the people who didn't. They called it hedonic adaptation, which suggests that we each have a baseline level of happiness. No matter what happens, good or bad, the effect on our happiness is only temporary and we tend to rebound to our baseline level. Some people have a higher baseline happiness level than others, and that can be attributed in part to genetics, but it's also largely influenced by how you think. So while the remainder of this article will help boost your happiness, only improving your attitude towards life will increase your happiness permanently. Here are some excellent starting points for doing that: Follow your gut. In one study, two groups of people were asked to pick out a poster to take home. One group was asked to analyze their decision carefully, weighing the pros and cons, and the other group was told to listen to their gut. Two weeks later, the group that followed their gut was happier with their posters than the group that analyzed their decisions. Now, some of our decisions are more crucial than picking out posters, but by the time you're poring over your choice, the options you're weighing are probably very similar, and the difference will only temporarily affect your happiness. So next time you have a decision to make, and you're down to two or three options, just pick the one that feels right, and go with it. Never regret the decisions you make though. Just live by the 3 C's of life: choices chances, and changes. You need to make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change. Stay close to friends and family. Or move to where other members are- so you can see them more. We live in a mobile society, where people follow jobs around the country and sometimes around the world. We do this because we think increases in salary will make us happier, but the fact is that our relationships with our friends and family have a far greater impact on our happiness than our jobs do. So next time you think about relocating, consider that you'd need a salary increase of over $100,000 USD to compensate for the loss of happiness you'd have from moving away from your friends and family. But if your relationships with your family and friends are unhealthy or nonexistent, and you are bent on moving, choose a location where you'll be making about the same amount of money as everyone else; according to research, people feel more financially secure (and happier) when they're on similar financial footing as the people around them, regardless of what that footing is. for more ways to be happy: http://www.wikihow.com/Be-Happy

can texas become its own country? please?

wow. i know this will probably stir up some controversy. here goes. i am so disappointed in america for electing a president who wont salute the US flag, who supports the murder of unborn children, who is more concerned about the mistreatment of terrorists, and who admires and looks up to a man who seems to be most certainly anti-america and anti white people. (and im not racist in any way. i couldnt care less whether our president is black or white or purple, or orange.) i am so worried about the future of our country. what are the chances of texas ever becoming its own country? i know its a possibility. what do you guys think? i kind of think itd cause some kind of civil war. ugh. thoughts? no need to be so mean- just because you have a differing opinion. its pretty ironic that most "anti-war" folks seems to harbor a lot of hatred and anger.
Answer: Yes. The treaty Texas signed when joining the Union stipulated that it could secede peacefully, should it ever decide to do so. Some other states, such as Hawaii, Alaska and the Pacific Northwest (Cascadia) have entertained secession. All of the Confederate states are prohibited by the Civil War treaty from attempting secession again. So they are basically scr@#ed. The links below will provide information on the current movement. (Question: how long would I have to live there to establish residency to secede with you? :)

Are you worried your future children won't - Weddingbee Boards

I've definitely thought about what our kiddos will look like but it doesn't bother me too much. .... To the OP, I'm not worried about my future children. ..... to live in his country (Macedonian) where i am often the only black person, in situations.

what do you think about our future president nominees?

I find them all a little concerning. Im a female, but Hillary worries me. Who will be our first lady? Then theres Obama. His name is too close to Osama for me. Where did he come from out of the blue? Sure makes me wonder. I tell you ,I am worried about our next president and the future of this country.
Answer: Not Obama or Hillary of course. What accomplishments that they have? Obama is a junior/rookie senator from Illinois, who got his seat against a weak Republican, he was like what 2 years in the Senate. Most of his voting records/proposals were likely left-wing liberal agenda. Hillary? This woman is tricky and she would do anything (including illegals) to stop her political opponents. And What is her accomplishment actually? And BTW, do you want Bill Clinton to be back in White House as First Man? It is hard for Senators who are legislators to become executors. Because they have not run an office before. I might think about Rudi Giuliani who is America's Mayor because of his accomplishment when he was in the office. For this '08 Presidential Candidates, you'd better do your research on what they stand for and their programs. Do not vote without knowing your candidate... Hope it will help.

U.S. Ports Expand, With an Eye On Panama

BALTIMORE -- The four cranes rise grandly over the port here, 14 stories high. Just off the boat from China and now being prepared for operations, the $40 million machines are part of this citys gamble that when supersize container ships start coming through the expanded Panama Canal in 2015, Baltimore will be one of the few ports on the East - Industry and government officials along the East Coast and the Gulf of Mexico believe their ports can gain from the expansion of the Panama Canal to allow much larger ships beginning in 2015; with so many ports competing for a share of the bounty, experts are questioning how big that bounty will be. Wenger – Diaby was tremendous but I'm still worried about him

But after missing most of the last two seasons with injury, Arsene Wenger admits that he is still worried about how long Diaby can retain his fitness, especially as he has already been recalled to the France team for this coming ..... Don't get me wrong folks; I'm not here to knock him but to put things in perspective & manage our over- hyped expectations of a player that has just one had one good game in a long, long time! ..... The key to our future would be scoring goals.
