Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the wedding planning!?

I have 10 months left, and I feel so overwhelmed. Theres a venue that is beautiful, is kind of small, but the price is right. The caterer (also the manager there wont write the food into the contract, as the price may change next year.) I still want him to draw up a contract of some kind. We went to another venue to shop around (even though the previous one is already booked) and we loved how big it was.....but we didnt like that the chairs had dirt stains on them, and the owner was very strict with the rules...everybody HAS to be out right at 11:30 or you get charged 125 per half hour! Also, he makes you purchase drinks separate and your own flutes. So we have to pay a bit more if we get that venue. So I dont know what to do with THAT decision. On top of that, Ive made a list of everything I have to pay for, and its over 10 things and I am so worried that I wont be able to afford it! So I just want to throw as much money as I can at these vendors so they can be paid off. I dont know which venue my fiance and I should go with. We have a tasting with the first one on Tuesday. I dont know what were going to do. If it wasnt for my amazing family, bridesmaids, and groom, I would probably turn into Bridezilla! Thanks for you input on this!
Answer: If you can find an old copy of Modern Bride, they used to have the best checklist in the back of every issue. I'm not sure if Brides still runs that checklist or not but that calmed me down a lot. At 10 months out, there are things you should be planning and worrying about and things that are too far out to worry about. First off, do you have your budget nailed down? That is first. Then your guest list. Once you know how many people you are inviting, you can figure out if the venues will hold the amount of people. I do not like that first venue. You describe it as small which is bad if you want a lot of dancing. I never think a venue should hold max cap. If your invite list is going to be within 30 of the max, find another venue. Here is what I look for in a venue- space. Will I have enough room if my guest list expands by 20 and I have to add another 2 tables? color. does this place have some terrible color I have to deal with in my color scheme? For example, maroon carpet or pink floral wreaths that look like they are from your great grandmother's house. restrictions. when can I get in to start decorating? when must I be out? I really don't like that that place has a bride there wanting to sign a contract and he won't sign it 10 months out. That's truly crazy. Using that logic it sounds like your wedding is Feb and he won't let you sign the contract until January. No way. If you wanted to sign it 2 years out, I'd understand his problem but 10 months is when nearly every bride would be. It doesn't have to be beautiful. Your decor will make it beautiful. But my place allowed me in on Friday before my wedding to bring things over. I brought the favors over, the punch over and put it in the fridge, and gave them a drawing of how I wanted the tables set up the next morning. The next morning I was over there first thing setting up my flower arrangements. My linens company put the linens on the tables and I had on each chair what centerpiece was to go on each table. My wedding started at 7 and everyone was not out of the reception by 1230. We did have to be out by 1 which was fair but 1130 is not a good plan unless you have your wedding at 5pm. The first 2 things to book and the most expensive are 1) the caterer 2) the photographer. Once you have that, much else can be bought with coupons or on sale later. My caterer rented my linens and glassware. I did my own alcohol. All in all, it was about half my budget. My photographer was 1/4. We used the shriner temple has our venue. What should I handle things with this girl? Need advice-10 pts?

This is a serious question, if you have anything immature to say I dont really want to hear it. Theres this girl who I think I am falling for, and I think she possibly likes me, but the thing is I want her more then she wants me. She gives me signs of attraction sometimes, but at other times I feel like she completely avoids me or doesnt talk to me. Activities for 10 month old?

My MIL watches my almost 10 month old 4 days a week while I am at class. For about 2 hours on Monday and Wednesdays and 5 hours on Tuesday and Thursdays. Yesterday she made a comment that they are really bored during the day and need to find something to do. I get the feeling that my daugher aimlessly wanders around the house getting into whatever she wants while my MIL follows her around telling her no to things she cant have. If thats the case, then yes I am sure its very boring. When I am home with my daughter we read, play with her toys, and run errands, but it seems like my MIL isnt sure what to do with her while Im gone. So I am looking for some games/activities/routine that I can set up before I leave so that they have some things that are different to do together. My daughter has an eating/sleeping schedule, but between that my MIL doesnt know what to do.. Any ideas for things a 10 month old can do rather than free time? I would like them to be educational activities, but some just for fun are fine as well. PS- She can get around fine on her own, if that helps at all. She is crawling, cruising, and can stand unassisted for a min or two.

I have been dating a guy for about 2 1/2 months. We usually spend 2 days a week together. We had a fight on Monday but it seemed like we were ok on Tuesday. Normally we get together on Wednesdays but he said he had a birthday party in the evening on Wednesday, so I moved some things around and we got together on Tuesday evening instead. We had dinner and joked around like we normally do. We played this card game out by the pool. I get very competitive and was getting mad that he was beating me. After the game was done I got over the fact he beat me pretty quick. He also likes to tease me and he said something that made me ask if he even liked me. He said he did and that if he didnt, he wouldnt be wasting his time or mine. I said ok and we continued on with our evening. When I left, we left on a good note, well I think so anyways, with a kiss and a hug. We had been talking about getting together on Friday but I wasnt sure cause I had tentative plans with other people. I talked to those people and got some stuff moved around so the guy and I could hang out. He sent me a picture message yesterday message and I answered it. I texted him later in the day that I had got my plans moved so we could hang out on Friday. He never answered. I didnt hear from him all day and finally before I went to bed, I called him to say good night and just ended up leaving a message. Mind you, we normally talk multiple times a day. I know that he was suppose to be hanging with his sister and had that party in the evening. Should I be concerned that he never answered me yesterday? Am I just over thinking things? Thanks for the help!
Answer: You probably are over thinking it. Maybe text him again like a day before Friday and jokingly say "Do you still want to hang out tmrw?! :D" so he'll know that you're looking forward to it. But just for the record, don't ALWAYS change plans JUST for him, have fun with your friends too :)

Im the Youth Co-ordinator in my community my boss recently told me to draw up a 4 week plan (Tuesday - Friday) for kids aged - 3 to 10 - I have no idea on what to do.. I know like crafts, but cant be doing that every day. (Also, my facility doesnt have any toys..)
Answer: get a really big sheet of paper or sellotape loads of pieces of paper together, put in on the floor and get everyone to draw on it together mini sports day (just line them up in age groups and make them run, jump, skip, crawl, side step or whatever, for about 25 metres) get some food and get them to make each other lunch

Went on a diet and gained 10 pounds and I dont know how?

This is a re post with more to it I am 14 years old and about 5 ft 10 I weighed about 160 about 4 weeks ago then I went on a diet/workout. I have stop drinking coke and have only been drinking water and gatorade. I do drink 1 big sonic drink on tuesday and thursday. I have also stopped eating candy, ice-cream and stopped eating so much. Also I have been doing about 100 straight sit-ups and a lot of push ups a day. Today I even did 200 full sit-ups straight and then 200 other sit-ups. I weighed my self today and I weighed 170. It is muscle I have gained or fat? Also if it is fat I have gained should I just give up gatorade and coke all together. Or should I do different workouts? Plz help, ty Srry for bad grammer Should I start doing more pushups or start running more??? Most pushups straight-50 Longest run-10 miles Another thing is that I dont feel any stronger or any skinner. How long do you think it will take for me to be more fat then muslce. Would you leave you 2 and 3 year old overnight with someone you hardly know?

I just started babysitting for a family last week and I am watching a 2 and 3 year old girl. I thought the plan was for me to watch them at their house, but when I went for the first day of work she had me take them to my house. I dont mind this at all, but it just seems weird because she doesnt know where I live or even my last name. She knows nothing about me and that was the first time we had meet, she didnt even request to meet me before the first day starting the job. Then this Monday she asked me if I would keep them over night (for extra pay of course) and I agreed because again I have no problem with it, but it seems like she should. And then to make things 10 times worse she called me Tuesday before I was suppose to be bringing them back and asked me to keep them again. I picked these poor girls up Monday morning at 7:30 am and she will not see them again until Wednesday at 5 pm. Does this seem werid to you? Would you ever let you children stay with someone you dont know? Do you think I should continue to watch these girls? I feel so bad for them because they keep asking to go home. She hasnt even called the check on them, the only time she called was to ask me to keep them again and she didnt even ask how they were doing or anything. Oh and the deal on her work is she is a "massage therapist" which I am starting to think is BS. She works out of her house and that is why she wants the kids out of the house during the day. But I was in the house in everyroom several times last week while picking them up or dropping them off and have yet to see a massage table. And she wears shorts up her butt and tube tops like every day. I am thinking she is doing a little more than massaging. One time I came like 10 minutes early to drop them back off and caught a guy coming out and he was in like a business suit and I watched him get into the car and them procede to fix his hair and check himself in the vanity mirror for 10 minutes before he pulled out of the drive way.
Answer: Wow. Interesting situation. I would tell you to definitely keep on keeping the kids. As long as she pays you and you enjoy doing it. From what you describe, she sounds like she is neglectful of her kids. She is very lucky that you are a good person who has genuine concern for their well-being, and not someone who would take advantage of her lack of concern and mistreat her children. Her children probably love you, as you are probably the best thing they have in their life. For that reason I would say to keep the kids. --also--so you really think she's a prostitute? I am a massage therapist and I can tell you that massage tables do fold up to be stored away. The way the man acted is something that a massage client would do also. Maybe start asking her some questions, like where she went to Massage Therapy School or how much she charges because you have a friend who needs a massage. If her being a "working girl" doesn't really bother you (why should it?) then just leave it alone and be happy taking care of her kids better than she can, while you're making money!

How can I watch free episodes of "10 things I hate about you" tv show, live in Canada?

Id like to watch episodes online, I think its actually really new the series. But you should be able to watch this show in Canada. But its for ABC and we dont have ABC, right? I live in BC, if that matters. I go on iTunes to watch the episodes and under TV shows, it doesnt pop up. Ive used the iTunes store before, so I know for sure its not there and it should be, of what I read online. And apparently the new episode airs on July the 14 but thats American, or not? And I always thought channel 4, KOMO was like ABC. I have Shaw on demand and it doesnt tell me that its on Tuesday or around that time. Ill probably get no answers for this, but its really, really bugging me Help much appreciated. Thank you.

Just paid for Breast Augmentation on Tuesday/Husband just lost his job! Please read ...?

My husband was making a good amount of money.He was laid off in March and found his dream job and was reemployed in June. We were just starting to pay off our debt from being so behind and putting a little money in our savings that we spent from him being unemployed from 3/10-6-10. Things were looking up and we have great ins and he my whole life I wanted a breast aug and now especially after having 2 babies and nursing. We thought now was the perfect time since he was going to have time off during the holidays and we were going to put it on a credit card and pay it off with our tax return which is usually rather large. We went to the final appt on Tuesday and paid not knowing he was going to lose his job today! The paper clearly states no refunds ... I guess due to it being surgery and not something as easy as returning some pants to the mall. And also b/c they have to reserve a hospital room for u and that is why they require payment 15 days prior to surgery but the hospital reservation deposit (650$) much earlier. Even tho it states no refunds do u think there is a way I can get my money back? I was scheduled for surgery 12/15 so less than a month... I guess when things are to good to be true, they are!
Answer: You signed a contract, its as simple as that. Theres really no way you can get out of it because you signed it. I suppose you could talk to them and see what they say, they might be willing to cut you some slack due to your situation, but don't count on it. good luck!

What shall I do when I worked 2 &1/2 weeks and only got paid $20.00?

Three weeks ago I was shopping and this lady came up to and asked what I did for a living and she said she just admired me from a distance. She like how I so called looked professional. She then started telling me about this job offer that she wanted me to do which was to be her assistant in her business and her personal assistant as well. She is an Insurance agent and she is a pastor. She asked me what do I make a year and what is my career. She said well she wont be able to pay me what Im used to but shell pay me under the table until I get my insurance license. Which was supposed to be a month after Friday, June 12, 2009. So I took up the offer and went to her house right after we met. She seemed like a nice Christian women. She invited me to her church that Sunday. I went and enjoyed it. I continued to go Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I thought that this was good for me because I had been looking for a good non-denominational church. I started work in and her office it was so unorganized. Every 5 minutes she would holler at me to find a clients file that could be anywhere. Then every ten minutes she was praying. Then she gave me about 10 things to do in 5 minutes. When I would try to talk to her and ask her questions she would either ignore me or holler at me and tell me that I need to read. Then when ever I was trying to complete the task I would have to research to find out who to call, where to call or whatever. Then she would be like okay she’s done in her office, come and lets watch t.v. or lets go to the beach. Im thinking I havent even finished the list. Every day would seem that way and when I wasnt done she would ask me did I complete something. I would say no. Then she would get all over me!! I felt like I was going in circles. She said she had menopause. Some days I would have to buy groceries, pick up her granddaughter from day care. Run back and forth dropping off packages. Then the day came for me to get paid she told me that she wasnt going to pay me until the next week. I didnt approve of that but I gave her a chance. She would ask me for gas money and I said no. I started feeling used and like she was using Gods name in vain for a lot of issues. She then told me that she dont know what shes going to pay me, shes going to let God tell her what to pay me! I couldnt take it any longer. So I went back one more day and just walked through he house and grabbed my personal information and left right back out. I went to the church and explained the situation to the pastor and I asked him to pray for her and that she owed me money. I was for warned by one of her daughters that she was snake in the grass and she used so many people and they left her. The people in church acts as if they love her and she’s been there before me. I hope they don’t think I’m lying on her because they have known her longer than me. This past Wednesday July 1, 2009, she told me she was going to finally pay me. She said in front of her friends, for me to let her know how much she owes me. I told her cool and I took her the receipts and she gave me a $20.00 bill and drove off from the church. She still owes me for the two and a half weeks I worked for her. Her daughter called and told me that her mother told her not to talk me anymore because I’m bad news. All I did was try to help her. What shall I do about the money even though it was an under the table job?
Answer: NEVER accept a job that pays you under the table... Did you have a set ammount per hour? If you have no paper work providing evidence that she said she would pay you a certain ammount of money, then she owes you nothing by law. You can't trust anyones word anymore, not even the church, it's quite sad honestly.

So this summer I started dating one of my best friends, It was going great until we had to go to band camp and school started. During band we would talk every day and everything was fine. Then we got our schedules and we didnt have any classes together, so I figured we would have to break up eventually. I was going to do it when marching season ended when we wouldnt see each other at all. The friday before school started my best friend was texting me and she started to tell me that I should break up with him, that it would be easier for me to do it now before we got to close and me thinking well she has a point I would think about it. I started talking to my boyfriend and he agreed that it would be hard to have a relationship when we have no classes together, so we broke up and he said he still had feelings for me and I told him I still had feelings for him as well, but its best if we break up now before we got even closer. Anyways that night I went to the movies with my friends (my best friend was there) and she asked if I still liked him and I said of course, but you had convinced me it would have been better if we broke up now and not later. Then that monday when school started I noticed them talking and him following her around and on tuesday he had walked her to class, so I just figured she liked him, but he still liked me then on wednesday I found out that they had been dating since that monday! I was so shocked and hurt that my best friend would have said yes to him when she knew I still had feelings for him. What hurts the most is that they have nothing in common! I asked her to tell me 10 things they had in common she said, "Well I dont know him very well yet." I just dont know what I should do, should I just get over it and forgive my best friend or forget about them both? Im so distraught I just need some advice...

Im having BIG issues with my friends and myself, what should I do?

I told my mom how I feel, how Im not sure if Im crazy or not, how I keep seeing myself as ugly and stupid, how I feel alone. She said its just because Im homesick. Ive been feeling alone and depressed since Christmas break. But things got worse on Monday. I was kidding with my friend and was like "your such a b*tch." She was like, thats mean. I know it was. I thought she would take it as a joke, but she didnt. I apologized several times, even texted her a list of 10 things I love about her (as a friend). She texted back "thanks, " and hasnt even tempted to talk to me since then. I asked her if she wanted to get dinner, and texted back once "Sorry, I already got dinner." My other friend who lives in the same dorm my other friend texted me on Tuesday, "Are you okay? I care about you." I feel like she keeps treating me like Im crazy or something, all it does is making me mad that she asks, "Are you okay, " "Are you okay, " "Are you okay?" EVERY time I see her. Im grateful that she cares about me, but for real- Im not like this ALL the time, if anything, it just makes me want to return to be lonely and depressed, - because being asked if Im okay makes me feel like there is something wrong with me! I texted her how Ive been like this and she never responded back. When I brought up the issue of what I called my other friend, she texted back "Shes not mad at you- she said so herself." Well, I want to hear it from the girl I called a "b*tch, " not her. Well, in summary- this week has just sucked. I feel like the people who were/ are my friends dont even acknowledge I exist or care. They havent invited me over for anything like before, and I feel like Ive been replaced by the first girls roommate who keeps posting pictures of her and the other two on facebook. Im sorry if this is complicated, but it is. Am I crazy? What should I do?

Computer isnt working right after wow patch update?

We got the beta version of the recent wow patch and everything was working fine, but it seems like as soon as we installed the actual thing last tuesday (10/12/10) our computer started freaking out. At first wow would just kinda turn green, but soon it started effecting our other blizzard games like Starcraft 2, so I tried updating our java, adobe, microsoft updates, and I even went to the nvidia site and downloaded the update for our video card. However soon after that the games would turn green and freeze after about 20 sec forcing us to shut everything down. Things continued to get worse as we tried rebooting up the computer it would get to the windows screen and restart itself to get to the boot menu where instead of the usual safe mode etc, it was just a bunch of Es mixed in with the words. Even if I tried to start windows normally or go to last working it would still just restart itself, and even in safe mode there were weird lines that went vertically across the screen. System restore doesnt work and I almost tried reformating the whole thing. Eventaully I was lucky enough to somehow get to my normal desktop where everything seems to be working fine except for the blizzard games that I dont even want to take the risk of touching. I sent an email to Blizzard, but they havnt responded yet. Do any of you know of an inexpensive/not completley drastic way to fix this? We would really appreciate your help. Thanks! Comp stats: Microsoft XP nvidia geforce 7650 gs AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core processor 4000+ 2.11 Ghz 2.00 GB of RAM I already tried a system restore, but it doesnt work because after I restart the computer it starts going all freaky again and after about the 5th time of haveing to turn off the computer a screen pops up saying the system restore didnt work.
Answer: Go to Start> all programs > accessories > system tools> system restore > restore the computer before the date you have installed the patch. Done!
