Have you noticed? Do you wonder?
Four Supreme Court justices (the smartest lawyers in the country) and 26 states and 65% of the public, and the many Churchs still think ObamaCare it is unconstitutional. Based on the selling points given by the Democrates which wrote the Affordable Heathcare Act (dubbed ObamaCare) the legislation doesnt rely on taxes but on the Comerse Clause. The ruling 5 to 4 which included the unbiased opinion of Kagan who worked to pass the law and should have recused herself is its constitutional because its a tax. For you Democrats that are not aware Ill save a trip to the dictionary. Recuse means to disqualify (oneself) from participation to avoid a conflict of interest. How can a car salesman decide if people should drive cars or not?
Why hasnt anyone at least called foul ball????
Wheres the press? In the Obama camp
Wheres the Democrats? Making and drinking the cold cold Kool-aid.
Where was Rush? I guess even the great one misses sometimes.
Where were the Republicans? Trying not to seem partisan or hateful and pushing Obama Light aka Mitt Romney.
My first choice for President would be Mike Huckabee if he had run again. Next for me Bobby Jindal, Newt Gingrich followed by Ron Paul. There are many others Id choose ahead of Mitt including Rubio, Jeb Bush and one Democrat. Truthfully I JUST PLAIN DONT WANT ROMNEY but if my hope for a brokered Republican convention fails I will cast for Romney as any Republican and many Democrats will far better represent both me and this great county better than Barack Obama has done with his endless blame George W. game, runaway spending and end runs around Congress and the United States Constitution via executive orders. He ignored Congress with his unilateral decision not to enforce immigration laws rather then let the legislative branch decide on the so called Dream Act. Far worse he has totally ignored the First Amendments restriction against government regulation of religion by ordering religious institutions to provide contraceptives even if in violation of their religious beliefs or morals. Finally at a time when his concentration should be upon the economy he chose to focus on Gay marriage. Its clear to all thinking individuals the Republicans must keep the House and gain the Senate and Presidency. Romney promises he will work to get ObamaCare out day one and despite the fact he was a bully 47 years ago I know of no reason not to trust him. Obama broke his promise of no added tax on those earning up to $250,000 with the tax on those earning $50,000 and less as legislated in ObamaCare. Please vote Romney if all the "Hope and Change" has you hoping for change. It will take a Republican this go ground to get Obama off his throne.
Call your Senator, your Congressman, talk radio and the Supreme Court. I never realized before there are checks and balances on all branches of government except the Supreme Court and the justices. Maybe there should be an impeachment process. Not even they should be above the law theyre sworn to uphold.
Answer: Yes, and two of the Activist Conservatarded Supreme Court Jesters had private/secret meeting with the KockBros before the Citizens United Travesty of Justice.
Furthermore, EVERY 'opinion' of a corporation should have seen one or MORE conservative justices recused. Read and Learn the facts. The Supreme Court has been made a mockery by the activist conservatives. That is the Truth, Facts, and Reality of the situation.
They never recuse themselves when they will BENEFIT DIRECTLY from their rulings.
Kegan is NOT benefitting directly by this.Your idiotic ideology and propaganda belief is the problem.
If you Foxtards would think instead of believe we would NOT have any of these problems.
Proof Bill Clinton = USA Great, Shrub = Divided in ruins.

vote for a republican or else! :loll?
How could anyone, in good conscience, vote for a republican? Once again, the Republican Party has its poor, white constituents voting AGAINST their own interests. Millions of white people have no healthcare or are facing a situation where they could lose their jobs and lose their healthcare. STILL theyre angry at Obama for reforming the system to guarantee health insurance for them. How stupid do you have to be to be a poor white republican? The rich republicans dont even want to pay unemployment benefits to poor whites and these poor whites SUPPORT that decision! Are these people insane? To support somebody who wants you to have NO health insurance and NO unemployment benefits....and the rationale is: its "socialism"?
One rich republican was even on Fox News saying his kids have insurance because they have good jobs, so he doesnt really care for the provision that allows parents to cover their children up to 26 years old. And the rest of the panel is staring incredulously at this out of touch fool...The rich republicans must be shaking their heads in disbelief at these morons who support their agenda...and all just because some of these poor, mediocre white people plan on getting rich one day.
No doubt poor republican whites are fking IDIOTS. No wonder they cling to their guns and religion when hard times come, so they can continue to feel they have some value to somebody.
The way I see it, republicans have three main problems, and I will identify and analyze each of these problems so that my readers will understand why voting for republicans is so stupid. I will also offer some proof for each of my problems.
Reason number 1: Republicans hate the environment. They enjoy killing trees and polluting rivers. I can prove this: just go to a Kinko’s and watch who’s making the most copies. It’s always a republican. Democrats like to protect these things. Loll it’s the fact!
Reason number 2: Barack Obama is a democrat and he is a great man. If you like great people, you will recognize that Obama is great and always vote for a democrat. As proof of this, we have some dumb people in the House of Representatives. These people are always republicans who want to start wars. lol
Reason number 3: Democrats like to help people and republicans like to destroy people. Here’s the proof: some people need financial assistance, and it’s always the democrats who want to help these people. Republicans always want these people to suffer by taking away their benefits. Why would you vote for a republican who wants to hurt people when you can vote for a democrat who wants to help people? It seems so simple. why do republicans always hassle them?
There is no case to vote republican >>>>>>Mitt Romney policies below!
Republican/Mitt Romney policies: Womens rights = get back in the kitchen and poop out some more babies you cant support, and were not going to help you with them either. Food safety = I don’t have to eat “poor people food” so why should I care if any of you die eating it? Public Relations = Sponsor hate groups, and fan the flames of bigotry. Education = Keep people as stupid as possible so that they keep voting for Republicans who hate them. Military policy = War for profit, and I don’t care how many innocent people die so long as my war stocks go up. Health care = die. Jobs = outsourcing. Unemployment = Hurry up and die. Loll
Overall, Republicans believe their economic agenda is the best way to get people back to work - and many in the GOP are quick to blame President Obama for the rise in the poverty rate.
But how about addressing the root causes of poverty more directly - especially when millions of people in these so-called red states are suffering.
What does it say that most of the poorest states are Republican,? I think it means those states have more under-educated, down-and-out and desperate folks who are easily influenced by the republican BS. You know, like Ill make gas $2 a gallon when Im president or theres no such thing as global warming or lets all pray for rain
Answer: This is why I am voting for Obama:
1. Romney has flip flopped on nearly every issue. He is a total fraud and a liar.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_pgfWK3sxw
2. Unemployment has only gone up 0.5% under Obama. That's not enough to kick us out of full employment. The 8.3% unemployment now was actually inherited not created. Unemployment was at 7.8% as Bush was leaving. Its Bush who took us out of Full employment NOT Obama. Bush nearly double unemployment and brought it to 7.8%.
3. Brither attacks have been proven to be meritless, so I see no reason based upon eligibility to NOT vote for President Obama.
http://tesibria.typepad.com/whats_your_evidence/BIRTHER%20CASE%20LIST.pdf
Birther attacks actually show the true colors of conservatives. They have nothing to offer the country so they resort to meritless lawsuits against our president. NO president in History has ever been attacked like this.
Note: We know for a fact these attacks are meritless as all the brither lawsuits are being thrown for being frivolous or for having no standing. This is not a liberal court bias either. Most of these judges have been conservative judges.
4. The economy is not as bad as republicans make it out to be. Republicans act like we are in a recession. They are sensationalist who exaggerate. The fact that we have positive growth proves that.
Positive gdp growth: http://www.bea.gov/newsreleases/national/gdp/gdpnewsrelease.htm
Market growth: http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=%5EDJI
5. Considering what conservatives gave us with Bush ... we are far better off with Obama.
List of Bush disasters: http://www.commondreams.org/archive/2008/05/13/8923
6. Obama respect Deaf people. Mitt Romney does not. Obama signs to deaf people and provides a sign language interpreter at nearly all his speeches. Mitt Romney however, does not.
7. Romney's economic plan has been analyzes. It will benefit the rich not the poor like me.
http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/romney-economic-plan-cut-taxes-rich-raise-them-160632248.html
8. Conservatives are out of touch with reality, some are even flat out delusional. How well out economy is doing is proof of that.
9. Conservatives cannot answer questions honestly about how to better our country. Mitt Romney's flip flopping proves that.
10. Obama has done a lot to better America. More so than our last 5 republican presidents.
Here's a list of what he has done: http://obamaachievements.org/list
11. Obama is in touch with the needs of the people. He donates his money to vets, volunteers at soup food banks, etc. Mit Romney does none of that. Romney is not even president and he can't make time to do that??
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwqmUkP8ZD8
12. Obama is not an animal abuser like Mitt Romney who is on two national animal cruelty registries.
13. Republicans flip flopped severely on health care. First they were for it, then against it, then for it, and now against it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h91D3LKgF8g
14. Republicans want to fix social security by ending it.
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2010/10/21/912142/-Yes-Republicans-DO-want-to-end-Social-Security
15. Scare tactics about ending gun rights. No law abiding citizen without a criminal record has ever been prohibited from owning: hunting rifles, sports shooting firearms, etc. There is no proof to substantiate the claims conservatives make about people losing their gun rights.

10 points for best answer -- residents of Iowa favored -- September 2010 perspectives -- will she be campaigning for Branstad whom she endorsed ? ? ?
The former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee is on a roll: Her political endorsements have helped propel a number of upstart Republican contenders to victory in recent primaries, including a double win Tuesday in Delaware and New Hampshire. Her cable TV show makes its debut in November. And now shes off to the state thats made and broken more than its share of presidential campaigns.
Palin will be the big draw at Fridays Reagan Dinner in Des Moines, the Iowa Republican Partys biggest fundraiser. The question that will be on everyones mind is whether shell run for president in 2012.
Iowa, home to the nations leadoff presidential caucuses, can be tough terrain for celebrity candidates. Those who try to ride their fame to victory in Iowa without organizing a grass-roots campaign often find themselves on the outs.
Remember John Glenn? The former astronaut and senator drew huge crowds and intense attention here when he sought the Democratic nomination in 1984 — and got just 4 percent of the vote.
"They were coming out to see John Glenn the astronaut, not John Glenn the Democrat running for president," said veteran Republican strategist Eric Woolson.
If she runs, Palin would start with strong appeal among the social and religious conservatives who play a crucial role in Iowas Republican politics. But that appeal wouldnt necessarily last if its not backed up by a strong effort to reach out to caucus voters, said Steve Scheffler, head of the Iowa Christian Alliance.
"The track to success in Iowa is slogging around all of the small towns in bad weather and sleeping in downscale motels because thats the best in town," said Rich Galen, a GOP strategist based in Washington. "That certainly doesnt seem to fit the Palin theory of how she should conduct her life."
A Palin candidacy also would test Iowas glass ceiling. Just ask Hillary Rodham Clinton, who came in third in the 2008 caucuses, how tough the state can be for a woman. Iowa is one of two states — Mississippi is the other — thats never sent a woman to Congress or elected a woman governor.
Palin is far from alone in taking early steps to court Iowa activists. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has made multiple trips to the state, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty has put a staff member in Iowa and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania all have visits in the works.
Palin has been coy about her presidential intentions and masterful at keeping her name in the news since she abruptly resigned as Alaskas governor in 2009. Shes mixed political fundraisers and candidates campaign events with speeches in which she commands fees as high as $100,000.

Romney "Liberal"? Ronald Regan Democrat? Newt for National Mandates? Santrom Anti Right to Work? Paul Appeaser?
Oh for Hells Sake people. Are all these people "Liberals" because of some liberal time representing liberal people? or decisions?
Newt did all kinds of forceful his way or the highway garbage & thats why those who worked with him dont like him. He pushes that stuff on the people too, he believes heavy handed elitist government, he thinks he knows better than you do how to run your life.
Rick Santorum has done many liberal votes & pushed liberal projects. Like someone said, against RIGHT TO WORK.
Ron Paul is a Appeasement goof ball on foreign policy just like the idiots in Europe who called Churchill a War Mongering idiot! Hes a conservative? LOL! I mean I love most of his other message, but hes no 100% "Conservative"
Ronald Regan was a DEMOCRAT for a long time in his life. He was a flipping UNION LEADER! The SAG union, which was damned near communist. Is Ronald Regan a Liberal his whole damned life?
The problem with voters? Even the people here with more of a clue are indoctrinated and dont do their home work just listen to their chosen sources & blank everything else out. Youre flipping SHEEP, from the right or left. THINK DOGGONE IT! I MEAN REALLY THINK!
Mitt Romney represented a liberal state ... would you like dictatorial tendencies as Obamas got in a leader? Someone who doesnt care what you think & wants the Federal Government to do things their way & bypass States Rights? Mitt got into Massachusetts & turned far left into more sane, he worked with 85% Democrat congress & balanced their budget by reducing spending & left a surplus. His Health Care thing wasnt his choice, it was their choice. The court & Mass Congress made it more Liberal after he left & the court put in idiotic provisions while he was there that he couldnt control, but he move them in the right direction, which is all anyone could do & I doubt anyone could do it as well as Mitt Romney.
I WAS A DEMOCRAT WHO VOTED FOR OBAMA, NOW IM A TEA PARTY PATRIOT FOR THE CONSTITUTION & INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS! OUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, GOVERNMENT NOT CONTROLLING OUR LIVES IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!
Try thinking a little more & being indoctrinated a little less maybe? Its good for OUR FREEDOM!
Answer: Wow, you just said volumes in a few paragraphs. Brilliant! Absolutely Brilliant!
Young people tend to be Liberal before their brains develop because it seems so simple. People gain experience & their consciousness & base of understanding grows, and what seems so good on it's face, can be so evil in it's effect.
People develop & judging them from their past isn't always accurate. Newt Gingrich with his 2 X wives he really screwed over would approve that message. If Romney is still a Moderate, Is Newt still a Heartless Cheating Bastard?

Democrats hate Bush because?
It goes back to the Florida 2000 aftermath. They tried to steal an election, and they failed to steal an election, and theyre now running around saying Bush stole the election. Now, when elected Democrats and all these people run around saying Bush stole the election, there are nimrod constituents out there who are filled with the same deep, personal hatred, which is irrational. They dont even know them, and they hate him personally. So they get on that gravy train, too. So the elected Democrats start talking about how the election was stolen from them, an election they were trying to steal themselves down here -- and they tried every which way. They even had the Florida Supreme Court on their side for a while. So that builds. George Bush is the denier. George Bush has denied them whats theirs, and George Bush has done things they hate.
He has cut taxes! He is using the US military! He is outflanking Democrats at every turn, and hes a nice guy, and he doesnt respond to any of their baiting. This is not how conservatives are supposed to be! He doesnt play the role that they have assigned him, so the hatred is personal Now, because they have created... There was a certain foundation for him anyway, amongst general liberal population out there, but it has been stoked. It has been fueled. The liberals and the Democrats have thrown gasoline on that fire so that it is now roaring out of control. The sole focus of elected Democrats and their supporters, their constituents and liberals is getting rid of Bush, and the elected Democrats know that their constituents have now been ginned up to hate Bush, and so, to them -- the elected Democrats -- running against Bush is the best way to keep their base fired up. Politically, its asinine because Bush isnt on the ballot, as you correctly observed and pointed out. Yet they are continuing to run against him. Now, give them time. Theyll start their little assaults on Rudy. The Drive-Bys are trying to tear Rudy down and Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney.
The elected Democrats, their candidates, will get on to it. But right now this is primary season. Its fundraising season, and you have to stoke and deep throw gasoline on the fire that is their lunatic, insane, deranged, delusional base. That base is motivated by hate. They are miserable people, and they are unhappy, and they believe every conspiracy theory that comes down the pike. They are the genuine tinfoil hat crowd. You used to make fun of conservatives and the black helicopter crowd. Im telling you, the American left today and the Democrat Party and its base is made up of kooks. You take every conspiracy theory youve ever heard and throw em all in a giant hopper, and every one of them is in the Democrat Party today. It motivates them and inspires them. These elected Democrats know they gotta get money from these people, and so they keep throwing that on the fire, and the way they throw gasoline on the fire? George Bush is the gasoline. Politically its kind of interesting to watch because its so silly. But when you understand it, as I do, because I know these people like I know every square inch of my glorious naked body. I know exactly what theyre thinking before they think it. I know what theyre going to do before they do it. I know how theyre going to react when somethings said they dont like. I know these people, and I know exactly why theyre running against Bush for the reasons I gave you. Personal hatred! They just despise them. Look at how they talk! "Dumb, hayseed hick! Hes got a tin of chewing tobacco in the back pocket," and yet he outsmarts them. On the things he cares about, he outsmarts them every time. Theyre arrogant, condescending, small, little people.
Answer: Actually, he's destroying the military, not using it.

Do I sound like a terrible person? :( Its just a little long. 10 points best answer.?
Ok I was in American Eagle joking with my sister about her being a republican (She isnt really I was just joking) and about me being a democrat (I am though Im only 13) I was saying "We are enemies chick our world dont meet for I am a democrat and you are a republican. (Where I live most people are stuck up so this woman behind us got mad because she must have been a republican and so she walked away giving me a dirty look. I told my sister she was just mad because:
Newt Gingrich is a no count cheater and wont call her back.
Mitt Romney doesnt want her stuck up butt.
Ron paul is to old.
Rick Santorum is a creepy racist
and Obama is happily married and is going to win.
She got all upset over something that wasnt her business. She heard that and walked back over and said that me and my sister were stupid little girls (I just looked at this woman like "Im 13 youre like 26 I dont care if I hurt your feelings or you insult me" ) She just looked at me she was caucasian blonde hair blue eyes lol and I am Indian and black mix so I told her to shove it and flipped her off and started laughing with my sister.
I was waiting for my sister outside the female bathroom (I cant go in there girls are just so nasty!) but so Im talking to this other girl waiting outside the door about how pretty her face was she was blushing and saying thank you (Really she was absolutely stunning! no homo) and so we were talking and two girls come out the bathroom and walk right pass us without saying excuse us. I just told the other girl that they are older they are gonna die first and she giggled with me.
Am I a bad person for being this way? I am known in my family for my dark sense of humor. Thank you.
Logic and reason-Wow you are insulting a 13 year old do you actually think I care if I hurt your feelings? You must be republican? ^_^ its ok I have a rotten soul so what do you expect? time to grow up lady.
Miss London you are so smart. Thanks for that. I would never get hit though I am a kick boxer in trainning and can snap a wrist and break a back if I needed to. Did you read the other comment where the old lady called me a bitch? it was so funny! XD
I was not talking to the woman she started talking when me and my sister were talking in the sitting area in american eagle. I can say whatever I want really if I can talk about some one I can say it to their face or I wouldnt have said it at all. I can be a jerk or a brat but I dont mind really I just dont understand how a grown woman would bitch at me for something that wasnt even about her. I just told her to mind her own business and that I wasnt talking to her. I can see how I may have been portrayed as rude but I like how I am so Im sure if I hurt someone they didnt understand I didnt mean to. I insult a bunch of people unaware of what I have done. but I apologize for insulting anyone but I just wanted to hear what you had to say Im really not mean once you get past my humor. I dont like starting problems by the way I actually hate conflict and I know how to get out of it.

Dear Juliet as if I cared if no one helped me and no you would not i go absolutely nowhere without someone because of how bad soceity is. I could easily take you down but I wouldnt fight back. I would get you arrested for hitting me. Who is really dumb? and why the dollar signs?
I actaully want you all to hate me.....I know if you hate me youll feel better and have someone to hate...........Everyone hates someone.......everyone loves someone........whether you hate me or like me doesnt matter because Ill never know you......Ill never care to know you........You may think Im obnoxious or vain and I could give less than a tear about it. I actually just wanted to see how my aggressive writing would get several adults to hate me and actually call me names haha oh how fun! This is so much fun! How in real life you could never say something like that to me. If you even thought about saying something like that before I got a chance to even laugh and walk away my parents would brutally wound you. Not like my parents dont know when Im wrong they dont like grown men and women talking to me period.
Thanks Bad apple and Lest- By the way Bad Apple I love Porcelain Black.
Oh no I am going to cry.....that is called sarcasm. I told you all before I do not mind hate filled answers they are funny to read.
Answer: I act like you too. I don't think it's right but that's the way we are and that's the way we deal with things. Your allowed to have a joke aren't you? People shouldn't get all pissy about politics and stick their nose in. Maybe you should be careful which topics you discuss though, one day there will be a person who doesn't just moan and will actually hit you or something.

Surely Time isnt right that the GOP is afraid of Ron Pauls true conservatism, is it?
"There used to be an organization for people who believed in a truly limited government — limited taxes, limited spending, limited interference in individual lives and limited intervention in foreign affairs. That organization was known as the Republican Party. But the only one of those beliefs that still motivates the G.O.P. establishment is limited taxes. In 2008, people who still hold all of them joined the Ron Paul Revolution. "
after numerous sound bites ridiculing Ron Pauls policies without explaining them, Time continues: "there just doesnt seem to be a road to the White House for any candidate who opposes the war in Iraq as well as higher taxes, the war on drugs as well as higher spending, restrictions on privacy as well as restrictions on guns. Thats a real "freedom agenda," a true assault on big government, and while it clearly spoke to some angry dudes with high-speed web connections and time on their hands, its just as clearly not where America stands today. Paul didnt have a lot of company on the House floor when he rose recently to complain about government overreach in the investigation of the disgraced former New York governor Eliot Spitzer, who resigned after revelations that he had been a customer of a high-end prostitution ring.
But even if Pauls ideological purity is never going to get him to the White House, it does help illuminate the impurities — and sometimes the hypocrisies — of todays Republicans, just as Ralph Nader can do for the Democrats. The G.O.P. candidates all claimed to defend taxpayers, but Paul was the only one who refused to accept a taxpayer-funded pension or taxpayer-funded junkets. The candidates all talked about shrinking big government, but Paul was the only one who included the Pentagon and NSA wiretaps and petroleum subsidies in his definition. Bushs approval ratings have been abysmal for years, but Paul was the only Republican who really campaigned for change.
And in doing so Paul illustrated what was so striking about the Republican race. The leading candidates had all strayed from Bush and current orthodoxy in the past — Rudy Giuliani on abortion and gay rights, John McCain on tax cuts, torture, health care and campaign finance, Mitt Romney on just about everything. But while Paul was getting attacked every time he called for a new direction, the rest spent the primaries minimizing and renouncing their previous departures, implicitly promising four more years of Bushism.

Mickey C - he has NOT DROPPED OUT, either. I wonder why people keep saying he has?
and when the true definition of a conservative means being a hypocrit, Ill call myself something else. Until then, I will continue to use the word.

Answer: HELLO, Republicans,
Please tell me why since you believe in the Democratic principles that our country was founded on....why you believe that Ron Paul should not have a voice in YOUR parties PLATFORM???
I'm a Dem and frankly I was ticked off when both Kucinich and John Edwards were sidelined during the Dem. debates...(Your mention of Nader is rediculous and stu***.)
BUT !!!! I was also ticked of after Ron Paul was side-lined during his first debate where he had clearly won.
Both won their early debates...Not against each other, of course, but both times after the"official" poll results were posted on TV...they would start another poll...WHOOPS! the 'wrong' guy won again...then they would talk about something else...The various and replaceable 'pundits...
Forget your silly" purity" of Ron Paul, makes you sound like a kid that hasn't given a thought about the ramifications to your own immediate family...(if you are wealthy OK, maybe you have)...but if some of your family isn't---- then, with Libertarianism you are throwing them under the bus!
I support Ron Paul !!! As a Senator! and want his voice and that of Kucinich and any non-pre-purchased elected "official"...We need solutions not Media pablum....
BTW, Ron Paul is not a "true Conservative" (that's Eisenhower or Goldwater...) Ron Paul is a LIBERTARIAN---- just because he is not "highlighting" his core beliefs; is just another tragedy of our stupid Presidential System.
edit: I am embarrassed my A was so long...You should be embarrassed that your Q was... I hearby swear not to even read another Ron Paul Rant...Do all you guys share a copy machine? Write your own opinion. PLZ

Rush says Palin is the new leader of the party?
On Mondays Rush broadcast, he dissed the GOPs current "reconnect" efforts, and said they were all missing the boat -- because Palin wasnt there:
"If Jeb wants to run around and say that theyve got something and we dont have anything -- I mean, the Democrats got something. We have to admit it. If we dont have something, its the fault of the people that Jeb is meeting with in Arlington, Virginia, not conservatives and not conservatism and not the grass roots!
Ah, the -- whats -- I have to laugh. Specter and all these people talk about how far right the partys moving? Its the exact opposite. This party has muddled its identity to the point that they have to do this tour to come up with a new brand, that theyre rebrand the Republican -- why? Because in many places, you cant distinguish it from the Democratic Party.
Something else you have to understand. These people hate Palin, too. They despise Sarah Palin. They fear Sarah Palin. They dont like her, either. Shes -- according to them, shes embarrassing. A lot of this is aimed at Sarah Palin. When you -- when you -- when you strip all the talk that the Reagan era is over and we got to stop all this nostalgia and stuff, clearly, in last years campaign, the most prominent, articulate voice for standard run-of-the-mill good old-fashioned American conservatism was Sarah Palin.
Now, everybody on this "speak to America" tour has presidential perspirations. Mitt Romneys out there. He wants to be president again. Jeb may some day. Eric Cantor, some of the others, McCain -- I dont think he does, but you never know. So this is -- this is -- this is an early campaign event, 2012 presidential campaign, primary campaign, with everybody there but Sarah Palin."
And then, yesterday, he was even more explicit:
"You know whats more confusing to me is why the people that dont like her dont like her. Thats what gets me scratching my head. The people on our side, not the left. I understand -- the left is scared to death of her. The left is still out there trying to destroy Sarah Palin. Shes up in Alaska, theyre filing ethics complaints against her every week, forcing her to have to have a legal-defense fund. Theyre trying to break her! Theyre trying to make her go broke so she wont be able to have a political future. Theyre scared to death of her. If they werent, theyd leave her alone, theyd let her go moose hunting! And that would be it!
Why -- you see how easy the conventional wisdom is? The conventional wisdom is that Palin is a dork, that Palin is an idiot, that Palins unsophisticated, or Palins this or that, she doesnt know the lingo or she has a bad wardrobe, all this irrelevant stuff! To try to destroy her, to destroy her credibility with people, to impugn her. I just listened to what she said, I liked what she said, and I liked the way she said it. Its no more complicated than that."
And so we start to see the pieces fall into place. Its clear that Palin is one of the conservative movements leading right-wing populists -- and with the GOPs open embrace of its tea-bagging right-wing populist wing, along with the increasing influence of Ron Paul (the partys other major populist figure), it makes sense that Sarah Peron Palin would become their next Great White Hope.
Of course, if I were Republican -- and boy am I glad Im not -- Im not sure Id be getting my advice for future direction from the very people who guided me into this mess in the first place. But hey, maybe thats why Im not a Republican.
Do you agree Republicans? Is Palin the one? The new leader of the GOP?
Answer: LOL

Why Are Republicans Complaining so much? Barack Obama Governs like a Traditional Republican / Bluedog democrat?
Republicans are going crazy, screaming socialism, and I just dont get what its all about? Where do they get off accusing Barack Obama of Socialism? In Reality, Other than Slightly higher banking and credit card regulations and his outlook on healthcare. How is he much different than George Bush? He Recently said he is looking to " Restructure the corporate Tax Code", he said he plans on " Leaving the Bush Tax Cuts alone for millionaires and billionaires". He has Kept Operations Consistant in the Middle East, has continued and escalated the war. He even kept the Patriot act around. If Anyone should Really be Upset, it should be Democrats. Republicans should be happy that Obama has turned out to be so moderate. Its not Obamas fault the Republicans suddenly abandon their own Ideas, simply because Sarah Palin was not elected. There is no way Bill Clinton, Or Al Gore, had they stepped in as pres would they have continued so many Republican policies. When Clinton was elected after Bush Sr. Everything changed.
In the Early / Mid 90s. Republicans were actually in Favor of their own version of a National Health-Care plan. In fact, the current Health care Plan Obama passed, is virtually the exact same plan the Republicans wanted instead of the Bill Clinton / Hillary-Care Plan being pushed during his presidency. Bob Dole Campaigned on it in 1995-96. Mitt Romney Implemented it as Gov. Romney had the exact same plan the 90s Republicans had, . LOOK it up. Its the exact same as the Current Obamacare / healthcare law passed last year. I dont Remember Republicans calling Newt Gingrich or John Boehner Hitler back in the 90s. Romney was not called Hitler. If Barack Obama endorses it, they hate it. Maybe he should endorse things he doesnt like. Almost like Reverse psychology??
Answer: They don't care what he does. This is about power, not getting laws passed. He is a black man and a Democrat. Their strategy has been to block Obama at every turn and even disrespect him by calling his birth into question, so they can win back the White House in 2012. They don't care what happens to America in the interim, if it might win that election.
What puzzles me is if he knows that is their policy, why does he even try to be a moderate and betray his own party when he is getting nothing in return from the Republicans? I suppose he figures that he can take liberals for granted because they have no one to go to but him.

unemployment benefits= Hurry up and die.?
Answer: Or you could get a job. Just saying.

Mitt Romney : Pictures, Videos, Breaking News
Includes blogs, news, and community conversations about Mitt Romney. ... FROM AP: What to watch at the Democratic convention Tuesday 2 hours 51 minutes ago ... Our "Independent" Dependence: Why Romney's Plan Doesn't Add Up ... we understood his concerns at how an inanimate object just wasn't listening to him.
Does the Republican establishment want Romney to lose and let Obama win?
If Paul Ryan does turn out to be the Vice Presidential nominee (which many strong sources are saying), I cant imagine that the Republican establishment is serious about Romney anymore. It just doesnt make sense. Paul Ryan is a HOUSE member, and not even a Speaker or anything of high leadership. Paul Ryan benefits from all the exposure, but Paul Ryan doesnt care if he loses the election. Mitt Romney has chosen someone who doesnt care if Romney wins or lose. If he had chosen Marco Rubio, you better believe Rubio would not have joined a ticket he thought he could lose, because you can tell Rubio is serious about someday being a Presidential candidate in a way that Ryan is not. The Republican establishment knows this as well. Its not like Rubio and the establishment is going to let this all slide and just forget about their own ambitions.
Not only that, but think about the foreign policy. Romney proved to be disastrous when it comes to having knowledge about how to handle foreign affairs. In the eyes of conservatives officials, Obama may be worth keeping over Romney, for this reason alone.
I think the Republicans would be in a much stronger position if Obama were allowed to do his 4 years, and continue to get a Republican House and/or Congress that tries to oppose him and make Obamas 8 years look like a failure. After that, not only will Democrats not have the Obama machine (who at this point is the only powerful Democrat leader), but also they will have a bad economy, which would make the country want to vote for a Republican President.

Do early votes for Clinton or Obama get wasted if the one you vote for ends up going for VP?
With the advent of early voting, doesnt that just end up creating a lot of wasted votes, and siphoning votes away from a party that may have several seemingly-viable candidates? How many people do you suppose voted or will vote for Edwards, Giuliani, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson, Kucinich, Nader in past years, etc. already before they pulled out of the race? Might as well have voted for Mickey Mouse at this point for all the good itll do.
We can all pretty much acknowledge that the election is currently down to McCain, Hilary & Obama. I predict republicans will see this and unify by almost all voting for McCain since he has the greatest chance of success for their party..what about democrats who early vote now for both Clinton and Obama since they look strong still? What happens when, say, Clinton gets the party nomination finally and Obama runs for VP, or vice versa, Do the early presidential votes for the one who ends up as VP get discarded & wasted?
If its still not clear what im asking, heres a possible scenario:
Lets say I early vote tomorrow for Obama for president & Hilary for VP, then a month later Hilary wins the party nomination and has Obama run with her as VP. Was my vote just wasted since the party noms turned out the opposite of what I voted? If so, it would be really damn stupid of any democrat to vote early when we still dont know who is going to be the candidate.. so stupid that I wouldnt be surprised if its in fact republicans encouraging people to early vote. They get all their own party to vote for the same person then the democrat early vote gets split amongst 2-4 people.. smart but sleazy political strategy, no?
