All of which is fulfilled in Jesus who is awaited for His Messianic Reign over more than our hearts as we come to know him as best friend, good shepherd and Messiah Savior today. The fact that these prophecies are included in the Jewish Scriptures and even rejecting Jesus they were unable to remove these prophecies made before the birth of Jesus. This further proves the Jewish Scriptures was not tampered with, as it would be the very thing that his rejectors the Jewish people would have removed. I had to believe his Words spoken from heaven by Jesus and recorded by the good prophet John (Revelation 1:1 &3:19&20) "I Jesus love you, and ask you to repent from your sins quickly, Behold I stand at your heart door and knock, if you open the door and let me in I will have fellowship with you and you with me." Jesus became my Messiah and best friend when I prayed this prayer "I open my heart door to you as you ask, I am sorry for my sins even one lie, help me do better and be my friend, amen." Since that day I have grown in my love of Jesus and his love for all mankind, be they in truth or in error. A Few Questions about the bible?

Hi, have been reading the bible and found a few things that puzzle me. Personally, I am an atheist, but I still like to learn about other religions.* And please dont answer "the bible is not meant to be taken literally" because many Christians take certain parts very literally like Leviticus 18:22 on gays. Ok, here are the Questions, (and I mean no disrespect to Christians or anyone). I will start with the bible phrase, then my question. 1. 1 Timothy 2:11-15 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing. ----------So it sounds to me that the bible sees women as below men, right? 2. It says in the bible that jealousy is a sin, but Exodus 34:14 says " Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God." 3. "And if a man sells his daughter to be a female servant, she shall not go out as the male servants do. If she does not please her master, who has betrothed her to himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. He shall have no right to sell her to a foreign people, since he has dealt deceitfully with her. And if he has betrothed her to his son, he shall deal with her according to the custom of daughters. If he takes another wife, he shall not diminish her food, her clothing, and her marriage rights. And if he does not do these three for her, then she shall go out free, without paying money." —Exodus 21 7-11 ------------------ This passage does not forbid, and even allows sexual slavery 4. The Ten commandments “Thou shall not kill” but the bible has many passages that order you to kill people who are non-believers (Deuteronomy 17:12), Witches (Exodus 22:17), and many more cases. 5. The bible says "dont kill" but the Catholic Church has more blood on their hands then any other group of people in the history of humanity. And almost every major religion is guilty. 6. I think It is hypocritical when conservatives use the bible to deny gays basic human rights, but they dont kill people who work on Sunday, who should be put to death ( Exodus 35:2). They say stuff like "Its not literal" or "This was 2,000 years ago", but wont that apply to ALL of the bible then? They treat the bible like trail mix, they take what they like, and ignore the rest." 7. And people who oppose Obama should be put to death according to the bible. "Romans" 13:1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God." 8. According to the bible, the Earth is between 4,000 to 10,000 years old. Young-Earth Creationists would agree. There is obvious evidence that this is not true, and the earth is millions, billion even, years old. If the bible was true, than the Jericho people of the Middle East would have had a bit of a surprise when God created the Earth AFTER they existed. 9. Here is more Sexism: Cor. 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church. 10. Religion is not a choice, it is inherited. Notice how not many Christians have Muslim parents or the other way around? And it is also geographical, notice the place where you are born, or where your family is from is probably your religion. And is this not fair for Russia? are all Russians going to Hell for not believing in your Lord? All they believe is how cold it is. 11. The Christian attempts to put prayer into schools run directly counter to biblical teachings. Jesus said prayer should be a private affair devoid of public display: "And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by men. Truly, I say to you they have received their reward. But when you pray, go into your room (or closet.) and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret..." (Matthew 6:5-6 RSV). 12. 10) Biblicists are not allowed to call anyone “father” (“And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven” (Matthew 23:9). Not only is this rule ignored on a DAILY BASIS, but Catholicism uses “father” as a specific title. 13. Ephesians 5;22-32 Genesis 2;18. but the older women are to teach the younger women how t6o behave to husband and children.Titus chapter 2. 8. correction 6,000 to 10,000 should your proof of what you speak of. 7. yes we are to obey those in charge unless they . make laws that are against God's principles Acts 5;29. 6. while some do this. we are no longer under the old laws they never applied to Gentiles. while all should worship on Sunday Acts 20;7. those who can't always make it because of work are not truly sinning if they are making money to support family. the word of God says those who don't provide for their families are worst then an unbeliever they have denied the faith 1 Timothy 5;8. again there is no sabbath for Christians we rest after death from our labors Revelations 14;13 5.yes but in times of war it is justified when doing the will of the government in good faith. Romans 13;1-8 4.again we are no longer under the old testament. when doing what the Lords tell us to do it is not a sin held in our account. 3.again this is the old law. if I remember right God said to be fruitful and multiply also these women were treated well if not they could be free. they were not to be without the normal love of there husbands. if they were abandoned they were free. 2.does not the Lord who made us have a right to say no other gods before me. would you be mad if you child says i want to live with my friends father he is better then you. do you want respect or to be walked all over. 1. a women can teach at home unbelievers she just is not to be allowed to teach believing men who are to be the leaders not followers. women are to be in subjection to men it does not mean they are inferior to men. a women named priscilla helped her husband aquila teach Apollos the way of the Gospel better Acts 18;24-28. so don't tell me women are inferior to men.

Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari, Sa`id bin Al-Musayyib, Muhammad bin Sirin, Al-Hasan and Qatadah said that they are those who performed the prayer towards the two Qiblahs with the Messenger of Allah ﴿first toward Jerusalem and later toward the Ka`bah﴾. Allah, the Most Great, stated that He is pleased foremost with the Muhajirin, the Ansar and those who followed their lead with excellence. Therefore, woe to those who dislike or curse them, or dislike or curse any of them, especially their master after the Messenger, the best and most righteous among them, the Siddiq (the great truthful one) and the grand Khalifah, Abu Bakr bin Abi Quhafah, may Allah be pleased with him. The failure group, the Rafidah (a sect of Shiites), are the enemies of the best Companions, they hate and curse them, we seek refuge with Allah from such evil. Answer: This particular story begins only hours after the death of the noble Prophet when many Arabian tribes took to leaving the religion of Allah in large numbers, just as they had entered it in large numbers. Within a short space of time only the people of Makkah, Madinah and Ta'if and scattered communities here and there, whose commitment to Islam was unwavering, remained within the religion. Abu Bakr as-Seddeeq, the successor to the Prophet, stood firm against this blind and destructive movement. From the Muhajireen and Ansar, he mobilized 11 armies each under a separate commander and dispatched them to various parts of the Arabian peninsula. Their purpose was to make the apostates return to the path of guidance and truth and to confront the leaders of the rebellion. The strongest group of apostates and the greatest in number were the Banu Hanifah among whom Musaylamah the Imposter arose, claiming that he was a prophet. Musaylamah managed to mobilize forty thousand of the best fighters among his people. Most of these however followed him for the sake of 'asabeyyah (or tribal loyalty) and not because they believed in him. One of them in fact said, "I testify that Musaylamah is an imposter and that Muhammad is true but the imposter of Rabi'ah (Musaylamah) is dearer to us than the true man of Mudar (Muhammad)." Musaylamah routed the first army sent against him under the leadership of Ikrimah ibn Abi Jahl. Abu Bakr dispatched another army against Musaylamah led by Khalid bin al-Waleed. This army included the cream of the Sahabah from both the Ansar and the Muhajireen. In the front ranks of this army was Al-Baraa ibn Malik and a group of the most valiant Muslims. The two armies met in the territory of the Banu Hanifah at Yamamah in Najd. Before long, the scale of battle tilted in favor of Musaylamah and his men. The Muslim armies began to retreat from their positions. Musaylamah's forces even stormed the tent of Khalid bin al-Waleed and drove him from his position. They would have killed his wife if one of them had not granted her protection. At that point, the Muslims realized in what a perilous situation they were. They were also conscious of the fact that if they were annihilated by Musaylamah, Islam would not be able to stand as a religion and Allah the One God with whom there is no partner would not be worshipped in the Arabian peninsula after that. Khalid mustered his forces once more and began reorganizing them. He separated the Muhajireen and the Ansar and kept men from different tribes apart. Each was put under the leadership of one of its own members so that the losses of each group in the battle might be known. The battle raged. There was much destruction and death. The Muslims had not experienced anything like this in all the wars they had fought before. Musaylamah's men remained firm amidst the tumult, as firm as immovable mountains although many of them had fallen. The Muslims displayed tremendous feats of heroism. Thabit ibn Qays, the standard bearer of the Ansar, dug a pit and planted himself in it and fought until he was killed. The pit he dug turned out to be his grave. Zayd ibn al-Khattab, brother of Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with them both, called out to the Muslims, "Men, bite with your jaw teeth, strike the enemy and press on. By Allah, I shall not speak to you after this until either Musaylamah is defeated or I meet Allah." He then charged against the enemy and continued fighting until he was killed. Salim, the mawla of Abu Hudhaifah, and standard bearer of the Muhajireen displayed unexpected valor. His people feared that he would show weakness or be too terrified to fight. To them he said, "If you manage to overtake me, what a miserable bearer of the Qur'an I shall be." He then valiantly plunged into the enemy ranks and eventually fell as a martyr. The bravery of all these, however, wanes in front of the heroism of al-Baraa ibn Malik, may Allah be pleased with him and with them all. As the battle grew fiercer and fiercer, Khalid turned to al-Baraa and said, "Charge, young man of the Ansar." Al-Baraa turned to his men and said, "O Ansar, let not anyone of you think of returning to Madinah. There is no Madinah for you after this day. There is only Allah, then Paradise." He and the Ansar then launched their attack against the mushrikeen, breaking their ranks and dealing telling blows against them until eventually they began to withdraw. They sought refuge in a garden which later became known in history as The Garden of Death because of the many killed there on that day. The garden was surrounded by high walls. Musaylamah and thousands of his men entered and closed the gates behind them and fortified themselves. From their new positions they began to rain down arrows on the Muslims. Just to briefly explain; I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 2 months ago and am having some very profound doubts, so Im researching Catholicism and Mainstream Christianity. I havent left the Mormon Church, but I sure am considering it. So can any Catholics answer me these questions as Im finding Wikipedia quite complex. 1. Do you believe that we are punished for Adam and Eves fall, or that it was a part of Gods plan so that man would know right from wrong, joy from pain, ect? 2. Whats the deal with the Catholic Church and the Virgin Mary? 3. What is purgatory? 4. What do you believe about the afterlife? Eg. Kingdoms of Heaven? Hell? Earth? 5. What is the worst sins that can be committed according to the Catholic church? (excluding the obvious; Murder, Adultery etc) 6. What is the Churchs stance with holding the Priesthood? How did it get the Priesthood and from who did it get it from? < Im guessing this is to do with Peter? 7. Is it true that (Im not sure how long ago) a council of Catholics took the Bible and added parts/took parts out? < We are told because of this that the Book of Mormon needed to be introduced to restore the fullness of the Gospel. 8. I think this is a huge thing and so, any non Muslim with a conscience, should take 5 min to read this, read what the other side wants to say to you. We have heard what your leaders said and reject it wholeheartedly. Perhaps lending an ear for 5 min to see what we have to say could give you the answer as to why that is so. Please no trolls or bad people. This is for people who see what I stated above as an urgent thing. We oppose what is being done and want islamic law. That is known. But what isnt known is why. What people think, is because were blinded and crazy fools. So I want to tell you why we are so sure on what we support do and say. So there is a book called the quran. And Muhammad saws claimed to be a prophet, whereas the creator sent this to him as the last message to mankind and as the last true religion of God. I want to say, that those that believe, do not pick their religion based on what we think or want or feel. Those that believe in their creator, believe in him because they realize that that is why they are on earth. Its a simple thing. We are here for this short time to do one thing, so we want to do it right. Fair so far? Now ... who is to say whats from god and whats not? Well here are two things. Number one, we should if we believe already inside, know that god would not leave us without a way that was not clear or that was ambiguous. Also, know that God created everything in truth, so fairly, has created his religion in a way that can be verified. This way we dont have an excuse to say oh i didnt know Well, it has been clearly shown, so who ever does not know, should be reading this message. Now lets start off with the book. It was revealed to a man that didnt know how to write. A man that was known for his honestly before he became a prophet, his nickname was al amin meaning the trustworthy. He was very well known for not lying and never going near bad things. when the people worshipped idols, he secluded himself and stayed far from it. This was the man before he claimed to be a prophet. Now. This book revealed to him was revealed over a period of 23 years. Many verses were revealed due to certain specific events that happened, and some were revealed as general guidance etc. As a prophet we will look at what this man did ok? This was a man who did many things. There are too many to mention so Ill give a short list of his daily life. Every day and night, he would have rocks thrown at him, pricker bushes thrown in front of him, he would be threatened of death, people would actually try to carry out their death threats on him, he was starved and shunned completely. Now this is all on a daily basis and literally for saying abandon the idols and worship one god before any rules or anything, thats all he said, and since then on a daily basis this was a norm for him. At the same time, this man used to fast from sex, water and food for many consecutave days at a time. This man would spend almost his whole night almost every night standing in prayer to God. Barely getting sleep. This man would during the day give speeches to the people on the religion, would constantly solve peoples personal problems, and fix fights. He would on a daily basis govern the social and economic system of the entire people. He would also on a daily basis be at war with the world (literally) and was the sole commander of the force to defend himself. He lived a poor life and all of his followers were poor. He had more than one wife (as almost every prophet did. most of the women were over 40, and widowed, he did this because they were left with nothing and no one, and some were to form alliances with big tribes, he was a messenger of god so what he did was ordered by god for the reason of establishing the religion) and he managed all of them successfully, treated them equally, fully financed their lives. He took time out to give time for the men, and give time for the women, on different things for each of them. This is a very very bare scratching of the surface of his daily life. So my question is this. How is it, that a man could lead such a massive life, so busy and literally impossible to deal with for anyone now (commanding one army is a full time job, how about that, president, banker, trader husband dad counselor etc etc etc!!! on top of fasting and praying all night!!!) So how could a man have managed that, and then made up a book revealed over a period of time so long, containing not one contradiction, a tremendous amount of sc facts as proof (embryology, speed of light, mountains, water, space .. look it all up) look up the numberic value miracle Also with perfect grammar, the book having literally a perfect rhyming and rythem

It is a made up religion that was invented to appeal to a large group of desert dwellers who would make up the army M wanted to fight the enemies he made. I have nobody I care more for than my wife.She left me and this is the second time.Im completely alone,missing her voice,her face,her smile,her warmth.My anger gets the best of me.I cant control it and I say very bad things that is in the heat of the moment.I dont mean what I say but that doesnt matter anymore.We have been thru this the last time and the same thing happened. I fucking love her and I begged weeks before to plz lets get me on medication I dont wanna lose you again.But she didnt do it.I am so mad at her for that.Shes gonee and its forever now. What the hell am I going to do?You dont understand.She is so different,everything I wanna be.But she never listens to what is so important to me because I dont like being this way. I agree with other people here who suggest you take your mental health into your own hands. I have suffered with OCD and understand the challenges of mental health. I will tell you there are spiritual and physical sides to mental issues, both need to be taken seriously. Do some research and find a church group, or service for people with anger, or emotional problems. Also get professional help from a therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist. If you want Jesus Christ to come into your life and make the changes you know you desperately need, pray something like this...there are no magic words, what matters is what you mean in your heart. "Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner and have fallen short of your Glory. But God I want you to be a part of my life. I believe You gave Your Son Jesus Christ on the cross to pay the penalty of my sin. I deserve the punishment for my sins, but out of love You so loved the world that You gave your only Begotten Son, that whosoever would believe in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. I believe you rose Him from the dead, and that He is alive today, and hears this very prayer. God, please forgive me of all of my sins. I ask for Jesus Christ's sacrifice to be applied to my life. Please take control of the throne of my life, and make me the man of God you want me to be. Lord, I am hurting. Find a pastor or a small group leader there that you can trust to share your problems with. Let them know you need leadership, and discipleship in your life. I can't promise it will be and immediately easy life, or that your wife with suddenly come back. What I can promise you is that you can begin to finally heal, and have God in your life, and be able to seek God and his Good, Pleasing, and Perfect Will And Plan for your life. I think it is good to share this with your wife too.
