Has Obama really lost his mind?
A new Barack Obama ad mocks John McCain for not being able to use a computer and send an e-mail....
The text of the ad says:
1982. John McCain goes to Washington. Things have changed in the last 26 years. But McCain hasnt. He admits he still doesnt know how to use a computer, cant send an e-mail, still doesnt understand the economy and favors $200 billion in new tax cuts for corporations, but almost nothing for the middle class. After one president who was out of touch, we just cant afford more of the same. My name is Barack Obama, and I approve this message.
Can you say DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
They apparently didnt take into account the fact that the Republican presidential nominee cant use a keyboard because of the severe injuries he suffered as a Navy pilot and POW during the Vietnam War.
A Boston Globe report eight years ago cited by the National Reviews Jonah Goldberg said McCains "severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes." The Globe story noted that after McCain returned from Vietnam he had a physical therapist help him regain flexibility in his leg, which had been frozen in an extended position by a shattered knee. His therapist, Ann Lawrence, said the treatment was excruciatingly painful, but McCain "endured it, he wouldnt settle for less. I have never seen such toughness and resolve."
But the Obama campaign ad posted on the Internet today poked fun at McCain for admitting "he still doesnt know how to use a computer, cant send an e-mail."
McCain has staff members send and type e-mails for him because of his severe POW injuries.
What next Obama/Biden camp??? Are you going to ask a blind man to open his eyes, how about asking a man in a wheelchair to stand up???
Sen. Biden had an awkward moment during a rally in Columbia, Mo., Tuesday, Step 9, 2008. At the start of his remarks, he pointed out several state lawmakers in the audience for praise. When he got to Chuck Graham, a state senator from Green Meadows who is in a wheelchair and cant stand up, Biden made this blunder...
"We got state senator Chuck Graham here, Chuck. Stand up, Chuck, let em see ya. Oh, God love you, what am I talking about, Ill tell you what youre making everyone else stand up for ya pal, Lets all stand up for Chuck. You can tell Im new, good to see ya buddy ".
http://www.breitbart.tv/?p=170853 - Video (Stand Up, Chuck)
Way to go Einstein, thats showing em! What is even more amazing is how nobody in Bidens traveling entourage ever thought to point this out to genius Joe before hand. :-P
Another DUHHHHHH moment - tax cuts for corporations’ help the middle class and entrepreneurs because it will create new jobs, new businesses and strengthen the economy.
Obama wants the high class to pay 40% of their taxes, which is 6% more than what theyre already paying now. Now, thats ridiculous. All those people worked long & hard for their money, and he basically is forcing them to give it all away to support failed government programs thus creating an even bigger government. We dont need more government, we need less.
Both Ronald Reagan and GW Bush had the right idea; TAX CUTS (across the board) always work. If anyone doesnt think so, they need to retake ECONOMICS 101. Seriously.
As for McCain being the same as Bush... John McCain is John McCain and GW Bush is GW Bush. They both differ on many issues & ideals. If people are going to call McCain -Mcsame or Mcbush, then Im going to call Obama - Carbama (Jimmy Carter & Barack Obama). Fair is fair. What is good for one is good for the other. I dont see any difference between Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama. As a matter of fact, I see history repeating itself.
Its funny; Carbama sounds a lot like Car Bomber, doesnt it. Hummmmm.
What do you think about all of this???
Answer: Barry is nuts!
Does Carbama realize that Clinton doesn't know how to use a computer (Dick Morris statement)? Does that mean Bill is out of touch?

Why do Liberals keep repeating the lies about the Bush tax cuts for the middle class?
If the middle class didnt get tax cuts from Bush then why does Obama want to extend them?
Could it be because he knows the middle class will call for his head on a platter if he lets the Bush cuts expire and they get a big tax increase?
Gee Wally: If you are paying 41% in taxes you are being cheated. That is higher than the highest federal tax rate.
So in other words I am calling you a liar.
Newt: Yes people that make more money saved more in taxes because thats how percentages work. You people are spoon fed class envy and it has blinded you.
Wally: You are comparing apples to oranges. The Bush tax cuts were federal income tax cuts. Your link has state & SS taxes in it. You are mixing this up to make it sound like you are paying 41% because of Bushs tax cuts for the so called rich. So unka danno get your facts straight.

Why do liberals want to kill 700,000 jobs with Obamas class warfare?
Republican House Speaker John Boehner hammered President Barack Obama on Tuesday after accounting firm Ernst and Young released a study funded by pro-business groups hostile to the Democrats agenda. The firms results showed that Obamas proposed tax hikes on the wealthy could cost the already sputtering economy more than 700,000 jobs.
"Our economy is still struggling under President Obamas policies, and his massive tax hike will only make things tougher," Boehner said in a statement. "Its one of the worst possible ideas at one of the worst possible times for families and small businesses."
Obama has been campaigning on calls to extend the Bush-era tax cuts on income up to $250,000 but let them expire above that level. He and fellow Democrats have accused Republicans of holding middle-class tax relief hostage to help the very rich (in fact, the wealthy would see the benefits on their first $250,000 of income). Recent polls have suggested that the public broadly supports the president in principle, though Republicans have noted that his proposal does not yet exist as legislation, and Democrats are expected to water down some of the presidents recommended changes.
The Ernst and Young study looked at the impact of seeing the top marginal tax rates rise—but also studied the effects of a range of other proposals included in the presidents budget and broader tax plans.
This report examines four sets of provisions that would increase the top tax rates:
· The increase in the top two tax rates from 33 to 36 percent and from 35 to 39.6 percent.
· The reinstatement of the limitation on itemized deductions for high-income taxpayers (the "Pease" provision).
· The taxation of dividends as ordinary income and at a top income tax rate of 39.6 percent and increase in the top tax rate applied to capital gains to 20 percent.
· The increase in the 2.9 percent Medicare tax to 3.8 percent for high-income taxpayers and the application of the new 3.8 percent tax on investment income including flow-through business income, interest, dividends and capital gains.
Here is what the accounting firm concluded would happen:
· Output in the long-run would fall by 1.3 percent, or $200 billion, in todays economy.
· Employment in the long-run would fall by 0.5 percent, or roughly 710,000 fewer jobs, in todays
economy.
· Capital stock and investment in the long-run would fall by 1.4 percent and 2.4 percent, respectively.
· Real after-tax wages would fall by 1.8 percent, reflecting a decline in workers living standards
relative to what would have occurred otherwise.
Ernst and Young prepared the report on behalf of several pro-business groups, including the Independent Community Bankers of America, the National Federation of Independent Business, the S Corporation Association and the United States Chamber of Commerce. (One of the co-authors, Robert Carroll, served as deputy assistant secretary for tax analysis in George W. Bushs Treasury Department.) Asked for a formal response to the study, two White House officials declined to do so on the record.
But Rep. Sander Levin, the top Democratic member of the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee, blasted the report.
"The studys bias is obvious, its methodology is flawed and its purpose is clear: Republicans are seeking every opportunity to repeat a tired and discredited claim about small businesses in an effort to protect the highest earners from contributing toward deficit reduction," Levin said in a statement.
"The fact is that extending the high-income tax cuts would cost $850 billion and it is far past time for Republicans to join with Democrats in asking the very wealthiest to contribute toward deficit reduction," Levin said.
One flaw, according to Levin: The report allows for two possible uses for the revenues generated by allowing the high-bracket tax cuts to lapse—more government spending, or returning the money to the public "through an across-the-board reduction in tax rates." But Levin said: "The president has made clear this revenue should be used for deficit reduction."
In his statement, Boehner underlined that the Republican-led House will vote this month to extend all of the Bush-era tax cuts and set the stage for a broader debate on overhauling the tax code.
"This report shows the presidents small business tax hike threatens hundreds of thousands of jobs, and will lead to even less economic growth, less investment and lower wages for American workers," Boehner said.
Answer: Because the Far Left exists to destroy that which they cannot control.

How come liberals always had enough class to keep their criticism directed at Bush and not his family?
Do liberals just have more class than conservatives?
Answer: Liberals can argue issues better because the facts are usually on their side. The liberal arguments, agree with them or not, are usually designed to be more reasonable, to point to evidence, draw conclusions from premises, etc. The Republicans work in a different mode. Their attacks are more likely to be personal, or to make emotional arguments that aren't based on evidence.
People who were unhappy with Ronald Reagan or GW Bush, their uhappiness was based on things these guys actually did while in office. The criticism of Clinton and Obama were more likely to be based on deliberate distortions, lies, etc.
Reagan was criticized for Iran/Contra, or for running as a strict budget hawk and then tripling the entire national debt. GW Bush was criticized for lying us into two badly-planned 'quagmire' wars, keeping them off the budget, bullying our allies, etc. BOTH presidents drew criticism for promising tax cuts to the middle class and then delivering them only to the rich, and for understanding their own positions so poorly that they weren't able to do unscripted interviews.
Clinton was criticized for murdering staff members, raping a woman, selling nuclear secrets to the Chinese. Of course, none of this ever happened! But the Republicans kept adding charges and repeating the whole ever-growing laundry list over and over even after most of the items had been totally discredited. They still spread rumors about Obama's birth certificate, they call him a Muslim, etc. All of which are not true. Most of the harshest criticism of Obama are not only lies, but they have nothing to do with the actual performance of his job.
And the Republican mean-spirited bashing of Democratic presidents extends to their families. They said Hillary was a lesbian and called Chelsea Clinton 'the White House Dog'. They call Michelle 'ghetto', etc. You never heard this kind of baloney about Reagan's or the Bushes' families.

Are the Republicans Misleading by Claiming that Readjusting the Rich Tax Rate to Clinton Era Will Hurt Jobs?
Are Mich McConnell and John Boehner deceiving by claiming that any tax increase on the rich will hurt job creation? They reference the small business owners.
Are they creating a deception that the rich are business owners. Are they really? Are all rich business owners? None just real state tycoon or enormously paid executives? ... etc ...
Answer: The expiration of the Bush/Cheney/GOP unfunded 2001 and 2003 tax cuts for the wealthiest top 1.5% was set into place by the Republican-controlled Congress and White House, and when this Republican-arranged expiration occurs at the end of this year the rates on these wealthy top few will simply revert (or return) BACK to the same rate that was put into place during the very PROSPEROUS Clinton years (i.e., 39%). Mitch McConnell, the guy who had the arrogance, heartlessness, and audacity to actually FILIBUSTER giving extended unemployment benefits to MILLIONS of unemployed Americans, is ONE of these fatcat few---he has a personal worth of $49 MILLION, according to "The Rachel Maddow Show" on MSNBC.
Republicans and their Faux "news" controller are falsely presenting this expiration that the GOP created as a tax "increase" when the more accurate portrayal would be a "return to fiscal sanity."
According to Ettlinger and Irons (2008), Aron-Dine, Stone and Kogan (2009), and Picker (2009), the unfunded Republican tax cuts in 2001 and 2003 were a fiscal failure. From March 2001 through the six years of totalitarian control up to 2007, the period registered the WEAKEST job growth and income growth in the post-WW2 period! Women REVERSED employment gains and for African-Americans this period represented the WORST job growth on record. This was accompanied by sluggish business investment, according to Picker, and the WEAKEST Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in more than SIX DECADES. Even former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan has weighed in on the NEED for these budget-busting, deficit-causing, nation-bankrupting tax cuts to be allowed to expire.
No, multi-millionaire Mitch McConnell and overly-tanned John Boehner are being "disingenuous" and, I believe, are attempting to sucker-punch the Democrats right before the election by having Boehner (the male version of Palin) claim on Bob Schiffer's CBS Sunday Morning talk show that he "will vote for just the middle-class cuts" if that is "all I can get" (he repeated that TWICE), which I believe is a GOP "dirty-trick" effort to get Nancy Pelosi to bring the bill to the House floor before the Mitch-McConnell Senate GOPers vote to bring the Senate version of keeping the middle-class cuts only and letting the wealthiest 1.5% expire, then Representatives of both parties will appear to be "cooperating" as they vote to approve the small-buiness cuts proposed by President Obama. This provides "cover" for the Republicans in the House at election time---they can claim they "voted for" tax cuts for small business owners only. If the Senate vote is then held AFTER the House vote, Mitch McConnell has already said in public that he will get ALL Republicans in the Senate to FILIBUSTER (block) the tax-cut bill from moving forward unless those tax cuts for the wealthy are included---holding the hiring incentives and capital gains tax cuts for small businesses HOSTAGE (making the Democrats look weak to the American voters on November 2). I hope the SENATE calls for their vote FIRST---call the BLUFF of the would-be blockers and hold an ALL-NIGHT session if need be until at least one filibuster-breaking Republican breaks ranks. Then, and only then would I hold Boehner to his word on national TV and have the House vote scheduled. If he then votes no, Democrats can use this against him and go after his seat in Congress.
