Let’s look at a few passages to try to figure out some answers to that question. Mockingbirds first appear when Jem and Scout are learning how to use their shiny new air rifles. Atticus won’t teach them how to shoot, but he does give them one rule to follow. Atticus said to Jem one day, "I'd rather you shot at tin cans in the back yard, but I know you'll go after birds. Should Americans be concerned for our countries well being and welfare after the troops return home?

A study shows that 1 out of 5 troops suffers from PTSD. These unfit troops will most likely be taking jobs as police officers and other law enforcement positions. Many troops will still have that shot to kill mentality implanted in their line of work...Does America really want unfit troops protecting and serving our communities?
Answer: your question really bothers me. Yes these fine men and women will fit just fine back into society. The high rate of PSTD is not only from the jobs they have done but the way they are treated when they come back home. Lets say you were a Model, ok! Now you are really good at what you do and have done everything that was asked of you. But you go overseas for a photo shoot and while you were there all you hear on the news and public opinion as all been about "models" are low lifes and we don't support them and we don't want them back in "OUR country! You are sent hate mail and threats calling you names and judging your character. When you get back you are told how you are not supported and people spit on you. Now is that fair? No it is not. Our soldiers do a wonder job in many different ways. Not every soldier has had to fire his weapon. Our soldiers do what is asked of them and they face hate from the same country they are trying to protect. It takes very special people to do what they do. My son is one of those and yes he did come back with PTSD but not from what he had to do but with how he was treated by the people of his own country!!! He had a very hard time dealing with what was being said and how they were being treated. He is still in the National Guard and is also a fine firefighter for our City! It hurts a soldiers family to hear the hateful things that are said about their heros!!! How do you think a 10 year old child feels listening to the news and entertainers calling their dads and moms murders and terrorist. People really need to stop and think how many people they effect with the hate they spead. But then again that is way so many soldiers have died for this country, for your free speech!

Carly gets pregnant andCarlys baby wont make it. She is the person who gets caught in the violence this time it is a hit ordered by Sonny and Jason is sent to do it. You will see a parallel story of Carly losing her baby while Claudia is getting news that she is pregnant. Carly goes into a short coma and when she wakes up, expect her to lose it. Sonny and Jason will feel exactly like Claudia after that, and they realize that killing Claudia would make them hypocrites.
Answer: As someone who lost 7 babies in 6 miscarriages, I do not enjoy seeing them on the soaps, and Carly has had enough of them already, so I do not wish to see her lose any more babies...so I do not like your "what if" scenario. It's also not a likely scenario because Jason wouldn't take the shot with a child or pregnant woman present, unlike Ian Devlin. All of the mess could have been avoided if that man had an ounce of compassion, and just decided that he'd go after Sonny another day, when none of his children were in the vicinity. Even if he'd have made his mark, what would watching his father shot to death have done to a son? No, there's been enough violence around the children of Port Charles for a while. How about some more realistic storylines that involve the hospital the show is named for? There was no better drama on television than Maxie, suffering from Kawasaki syndrome, receiving the heart of her beloved cousin BJ, and all the fallout that ensued. There are other ways to tell a dramatic story that don't have to involve guns and shoot-outs and ricocheting bullets.

HOWEVER, we have to make it clear who is a martyr and who is not. The first martyr in Islam was a woman named Sumaiyah who converted to Islam, and was killed by her pagan slaveowner who tried to torture her into going back to idolatry. People who murder innocent women and children are not martyrs. In Islam, the first person to be judged by God on Judgement Day will be a man who died in battle supposedly as a martyr. God will send him to hell, because the man took fought and died only to show off how brave he was and so he could be admired by men, instead of having any intention of serving God. It's up to God to decide whose deeds to accept and not.

If you have learned about the protestant reformation then you understand that all other religions that "worship as Christians" came out of the Catholic church protesting the infallibility of the Pope. What would happen if someone shoots a guilty person in court?

So I read a book called Life Penalty by Joy Fielding. The main character is Gail. In the end, the person (his name was Dean) who sexually assaulted and killed Gails child was convicted of being guilty. As Dean was getting out of his seat, Gail shot him 5 times in the chest. The book ended like that with the sound of applause from the courtroom. What will happen to Gail? How long approximately?
Answer: Gail would be arrested and charged with murder and possession of a firearm in a courtroom, plus others such as public endangerment, illegal discharge of a firearm, and whatever else the DA can think of. What happens to her largely depends on the jury. Most likely, she would be found guilty of murder and all firearms charges. Sentencing also depends on the judge, but she'd be in for at least 15 years. Life imprisonment is possible if the judge decided that way. On the flip side, the jury could use its right of what they call "jury nullification", which basically means that even though she is obviously guilty of a violation of law, they can decide to render the verdict of "not guilty" anyway, sparing her from any punishment. That option is used if the jury believes the law is unfair or being applied unfairly. They may feel the killing was justified and let her go - but it hardly happens, especially on a murder trial. Have you ever wondered why nobody blow himself up in the name of evolution?

I mean if I burn the Origin of Species, nobody would come after me and blow himself up. If a teacher refuses to teach evolution and replaces it with creationism, nobody would want to kill him. He may get fired, but nobody would rig his car with a pipe bomb or something.
Answer: Having witnessed slavery aboard the HMS Beagle, Darwin didn’t like it, yet his ideas have been used to justify practices ranging from racism, colonialism, eugenics, and social Darwinism—which makes sense. If you don’t know about eugenics, you need to look it up. Speaking of racism, Dr. Stephen Jay Gould, the evolutionary biologist, said, “Biological arguments for racism may have been common before 1850, but they increased by orders of magnitude following the acceptance of evolutionary theory” (Ontogeny and Phylogeny). Sin is ultimately the cause of racism, but Darwinism certainly fuels racist ideas (some people groups are more evolved than others). And there are other things. When his fellow evolutionist, Jaron Lanier, said, “There’s a large group of people who simply are uncomfortable with accepting evolution because it leads to what they perceive as a moral vacuum, in which their best impulses have no basis in nature,” Richard Dawkins replied, “All I can say is, that’s just tough. We have to face up to the truth” (Evolution: The dissent of Darwin, Psychology Today). If you teach kids that they are really just rearranged pond-scum and that they are simply naked apes, why are you surprised when they act like apes, and when they shoot up a school wearing a t-shirt that says, “Natural Selection”? Or shoot up a school after saying, “I, as a natural selector, will eliminate all who I see unfit, disgraces of human race and failures of natural selection.” Look those up. According to Darwin, in The Descent of Man, morals came about through the same process of natural selection acting on random variations just like everything else. If that is the case, then everything you see in nature from maternal instinct (which we think is nice) to infanticide with mothers killing their children (which we usually think is not nice) were produced by the same evolutionary process. If your only standard is survival value, then who are we to criticize how someone is acting? It’s very hard to say one thing is good or bad based on Darwin’s theory. Those who are saying you can have Darwin and morality too (have your cake and eat it too) are not accepting Darwin’s account of morality—that all our behaviors and moral beliefs are simply the creation of unguided natural selection and survival of the fittest. And why do we have hospitals? We should let the sick people die; we don’t want them passing on their genes. An atheistic evolutionist who is a medical doctor is really inconsistent. Eugenics is the correct application of that world-view.

What age can a child be named in a news publication without permission?

I remember being told that a newspaper cannot name a child (for example if theyve committed an offence) until theyve reached 18. Is that right?
Answer: I don't know the laws in the U.K., but in America, it's perfectly legal to name a child in a newspaper story without permission. However, most newspapers don't do that unless there's a very strong reason. For example, if a child is charged with a crime, most papers will not publish the name of a juvenile. If it is a huge crime -- such as shooting and killing students at a high school -- the suspect is likely to be named, even if he is underage. Also, some newspapers publish things such as school honor rolls, achievements in Scouting, etc., and no one minds. Not to mention that if a high school student is an athlete, he or she will probably be named on the sports page, no matter whether they scored the winning goal or committed the error that led to their team's defeat.
